Could have thrown bird in to shore things up more. But I would have ended the game with Latu 7. Luai 6. Api 13 Dasilva 9. We could have carved them right through the middle, they were gassed in the last 10 minutes.

Twal, Mason for sure should be playing reserve grade. Douhie offers nothing apart from goal kicking.

Twal cost us all momentum with that stupid steal. From a junior you can understand but he's been playing for nearly 10 years now. That completely swung momentum.

Cold comfort, we won the second half and I’m glad that we didn’t get spanked.

It’s obvious where we are lacking and if fit and able Latu is our 6/7.

While Twal was decent, the steal was game over for us.

The poor defence in the first half lost us the game and our lack of strike power showed our inability to win the game.

I’d say Latu did enough to finally earn himself a starting spot. Time to play 80 mins. He looks likely every time he runs the ball. More dangerous ball runner than Galvin.

Most of the pieces are in place. We're getting closer. A few more upgrades in areas that are still costing us games.

That might help us defend better, but won’t help our abysmal attack too much.

TDS was cover for Romey . And I think Benji still wasn’t 💯 with Latu as an 80 min player . After today’s second half , you can’t start him only run Mason as 14 , especially if TDS has eyes for Merewether Beach .
I’m pissed off about that loss , as we really didn’t execute against them . Like mays forward pass . They gave us very little opportunities and we didn’t execute on them .
I was pissed off with that call , because it never gets called , but it was the correct call . I just know that we will watch 10 replays this weekend where half the team are offside and no one will bat an eyelid . Consistency . It’s not just an old wooden ship .. 🛳️

He has gone to another level at prop but yes if we grab a fifita and he plays to his ability we can rotate sammy into prop and fonua into lock or vice versa. Lots of options if we just get a high quality backrower, we should be prodding around Manly with olakautu..

A very frustrating performance - clearly we're trying hard. More than enough opportunities to win that game, however, not good enough in the opposition 20. Our pack did amazingly well against a strong pack.

We had enough ball to score 6 or 7 tries, but fumbled and bumbled their way to 2 tries.
Bula was back to his jogging shit show.
We lack speed, how many breaks were made and nobody with any pace backing up ?
Api too old to be playing 80mins yet we leave a young up and comer with plenty of zip and plenty of speed in Da Silva on the bench for the full 80mins ? Who does that ?

We are building a good side. Latu Fainu has to start at 7. He’s a star. Taylan May replacing Douihei, KPP replacing Seyfarth eventually may not seem like much however that’s 3 weak links taken out of the team.

We need to find a gun 13 from somewhere. Twal, Bird aren’t dynamic enough.

Please note T, Douehis not going anywhere, at least for a while.
