It’s the spine.
They are good individually, but are clunky as all hell as a unit.
Api is buggered from attempting near 60 tackles per week.
Bula is returning good stats but isn’t busy enough and makes a lot of mistakes.
The halves are chopping and changing a lot. Luai played a lot better tonight. Fainu needs some miles in his legs.

Bula should have claimed the try and not played the ball. Would have forced the ref to make a call and the video ref would have looked at it. It was either dumb by Bula or he knew he didn’t score. I thought it might have been a double movement from Bula.

Yeah the double movement was the risk. I thought he did the right thing playing on to cover it.

The club coaching staff in particular felt he was better than Galvin injury and attitude were the handbrake. I hear it’s the same with TDS and Haywood. Sounds like Api will get extended and TDS gone.

His defence is beautiful and honestly super underrated. Halves especially young ones struggle with first grade contact but he seems to have no issue with it. He put a lot of big shots on tonight, so much better than watching Galvin arm grab and piggy back

I said a great job building the team culture.
He is clearly not on the same level overall as Cleary, Bennett, Bellamy but he has managed to get more wins than the last 3 spoon years, that’s a clear improvement and he has until 2026 imo

Yes I admit to be being in a bad mood on Luai. But he hasnt stood up to ice a game in 5 winnable games in his last 5 starts, including origin.
We are better with him, but not contenders just by having him.

Don't know if anyone else noticed and there was no replay aired but the winger in the hair pull incident was at least 5m offside from the kick. Funny how the video ref was happy to go back to the start of the play on the bula offside but only looked at the tackle on that one
