I think the flogging Melbourne gave the Rorters this week puts our performance into some perspective.

Like everyone, I was truly gutted by the inept defence at the beginning and throughout the match but even though the rorters started out OK the end result was the same.

There are two teams really in this comp and they are light years ahead of any team coming 5th - 16th. Sacking Madge at this stage will do nothing but add to the instability, toxic mix, no-one wants to go there belief instilled by journos (and the club itself) over the last 12 years. Need to hold firm and create a platform for growth in the future (somehow).

The chooks team at full strength was nowhere near what they rolled out and with Teddy carrying a injury, they were Neville no chance. Yet the 17 we rolled out was not far from our best. I think looking at the next few years, I would rather the chances of the Chooks over our mob

Most people would but that's not the point. Even without a few they are still much stronger than us across the park but still got rolled mercilessly.

we need to sign someone else who’s pretty good

Well if they not already coaching an NRL Club then they can't be all that good. However, our Reserve Grade Coach does look promising. He had the Reggies running OK until players were moved around through injury & 1st Grade Promotion. He's getting to know the young guys first hand and ought to be given the opportunity when Madge hangs up his cliches. But sadly "it's not who we are" and we'll probably employ Neil Henry!

I tend to think. If we move in another direction from Madge. We have the bones to pick a younger / rookie coach with the introduction of Sheens as a head of football. We have a mentor ship role set up perfectly now.
Who knows maybe Madge will benefit from that in the short term.
I’d be keeping an eye on Jason Ryles and how he fairs replacing Fitzy at the Roosters.

The Wests Tigers is not the place for a rookie coach.

Not right now, no. But we are getting the framework in place to enable that possibility.

I truly believe that there are only a couple of coaches that would guarantee success here.

No argument there. Troubl id sthey wouldn't come because it might be harder work than what they already do. Look at how Bennett abandoned the Knights when he smelt the poo storm coming.

Yeah, I don't think we can attract those coaches, it is why I favour surrounding Madge with the best people. I can see signs of improved support around him, I really like our appointments in pathways. The appointment of Matthew Betsey, while going a little unnoticed, is as strong of an appointment as any of the recent appointments.

Madge was just on Fox ......latest comment "for many of the younger players it was the 1st time they faced a team like the Storm "

Sounds like we need to buy TV's for many of the juniors

They are the Premiers .....did we expect them to be soft

Reasons .....or excuses

I think Madge would be a bit worried. Which Tigers side is turning up today. Another flogging and Madge will be all the talk for the week.

But in the same conversation he said we had learnt a lot from that loss ........wonder if he learnt what many of our fans already know ??

Going by team selections i don't think he has.

Well we are still a chance for the 8, so youngsters are probably not an option at this time, so who do we replace and with who?

As any reasonable person knows it's no one-man show these days. It's a large team effort and we are starting to stack the off-field team to improve the on-field team. just hope it starts bearing fruit beforemuch longer.

I think if souths don't rest origin players we are going to get pumped.

Our draw after today is:
Broncos
Manly
Warriors
Dogs
Cowboys
Sharks

If we don't win 4 of them I think it is time for Madge to fall on his sword

Missed a few?
Bye
Broncos
Sea eagles
Warriors
Dogs
Cowboys
Sharks
Panthers
Dogs

Why would Madge fall on his sword? He is not he one, not putting in? We have very little options in the backs to replace anyone.

We all know, the last game against the dogs will knock us out of the 8, with them kicking a FG in golden point, after the ref had caned us with penalties and 6 agains😀🙄

It's a results driven business. That is why he should fall on his sword.

That is part of Bennett's DNA,take the money and run.He always seems to bail when it starts to get sour and he leaves the club in a weaker position.

No point doing anything about Madge right now. We’ll just look stupid and even less desirable for any decent coach.

Give him until mid next year to turn it around, then hopefully some decent coaches on the market.

We have one of the easiest draws to finish the season. If performances don't turn around give a new coach the offseason with the roster

Coaches like John Morris etc. will send us even further backwards.

Todays assistant referee for our match v Souths is **Kasey Badger** the partner of our clubs training referee **Gavin Badger**,
In the **season 2019**, they were the first ever couple to referee an NRL game together, this match was also **R Farrah's** 300th,(1 try)
Knight's 26 v **Tigers 28**
After some setbacks, Kasey has been admired by many for her courage and dedication to get to the top of her profession.
Have a great day today Kasey, and it's wonderful having your husband working with the mighty **WT**.
