LIVE GAME Round 17v Manly

Live Game Discussion
I was expecting a loss buy not a bashing from Manly's forwards. Without Olakauatu, their pack was borderline KOE standard yet they dominated us. Nobody could make any yardage even the normally reliable Turuva.
Opposing teams are compressing their defence as they know we don’t have the capability or speed to get around them.
Aside from the clunkiness within our halves, we have much slower than average edge back rowers, much slower than average centres and much slower than average wingers.
You can probably afford it in one of the 3 categories, certainly not in all 3.

Douehi by far the most impressive stats
1 try assist ,1 line break , 1 line break assist , 131 m run
0 missed tackles 0 errors and about 200 kick m

The rest 0 try assists 0 line break assists
That's also 2 weeks in a row where he's shown some real speed
At least he tried his best to ignite something while playing in a side with the most clunky attack in the NRL
Our last win was against Dragons in magic round and Douehi scored 1 try and was the main try assist for another
Early this season it seems he was carrying a groin injury but seems that's cleared up
That gives us when everyone fit a good 1-7
Bula ,Turuva , Toa , Douehi ,Skelton , Luai , Latu ,
Forward pack
May , Korisau ,Pole , Samuela , Sione , Seyfarth
Twal is a plodder and a bench player at best ,Bird is Likewise
Problem is lose any of my best 13 above and unlike the top clubs there is no like for like replacements
The gap between our best and the rest is way too big and Benji and Richo you need to address this ! We lack depth
Take next week No Bula , Luai , Korisau and there is simply no satisfactory solution ( Douehi could fill in at 6 ) and hopefully Taylan May could cover for him in the backline
You can't cover our player losses with ordinary reggies footballers

What you say is true, but even still you don’t think lack of speed across the park is a problem ?
I think we have to continue playing Doueihi in the halves.

Margin of 51-60 for roosters next week sounds fair.disappointed iv bought tickets, paid for accommodation and going to travel 3hrs to watch us get flogged.
I was thinking about popping down as well, having not been to the revamped Moore Park stadium to check it out, but no longer have enough enthusiasm. Still, I hope that changes are made to at least somewhat turn things around to help you enjoy the trip overall.

Playing for a contract.

The service from 9 didn’t help the forwards but they were poor.

It’s kind of funny people are only just waking up to this.
Benji has been bloody dreadful the entire time he’s been here as coach.
Someone told me last night Madge would have done a worse job these past 3 years than Benji has lol.
I've been a supporter of Benji for most of this year but I've probably been supportive because I'm sick of changing coaches every year BUT now I'm seeing really poor judgement in team selections, Team positional changes ,team lacking any coordination in attack
He picks a team then sits on the sideline and plays musical chairs with the team during the game .
Benji as coach " try this " and if that doesn't work " try that "
Cant imagine any good coach wanting the job as coaching this merger which has always been like an "estranged " marriage totally run by a bunch of useless real bosses called the HBG

Can only hope, got tickets to the races on Saturday hopefully I can win there then put it all on the roosters, would be happy to lose that bet just to see the tigers win
