Luai was better than Cleary tonight,,

Not by a long way. I was on that bandwagon for a long time because I hate the Clearys, but Cleary did everything tonight, from controlling the attack, to important momentum changing tackles to a perfect kicking game. Incredible watching such a dominant kicking game. Luai is good, and played a sort of early Benji role, but this game was all Cleary's.

Caught on tackle 5 on 5 occasions and Once on tackle 6 that was a turnover...

Penrith had a bazillion tackles in the Slimey's 20..ran away at the end...

Kicked the 40/20 and for Martin's TRY..

Luai created Penrith's 1st TRY and scored a solo one..

Brandy just said his kicking game was off..

I'd just add to my other comment that Cleary was better because he controlled the momentum of the play. He put Penrith in every position, he controlled the game, that's his role. To say Luai is the better player tonight because he setup two tries to one is like giving a winger the man of the match. And sure, sometimes Nofo can earn that, but Luai's play doesn't happen without Cleary contolling EVERYTHING, so it's just no comparison between the two of them tonight. Maybe Luai can play that way too, but that's not what he was doing tonight.

If he’s that good why does he go missing in Origin ?

Luai gives him the time to play just like Maloney did before .

I'm not defending Cleary anymore because I hate him too! You guys rip in, but I know which half I'd take.

He's class. And he keeps slimey away from a blues jersey.

Was watching him closely again covers everyone in defence, gets to marker, gets back and great line speed. Pretty much does everything we don’t do. Lacks explosiveness but around some
Powerful kids at Penrith he’s a great player. We
Need more than Tamou though it a 2 year deal is a good solid signing for us.

He was there to rush the kickers everytime he was at marker - the only person in out team that does that is Harry Grant and Elijah Taylor occasionally.

Highlight of the night for me was Moses putting in a nothing kick in the first set Parra had on their line nearly the whole gsme. Only for Cleary on the very next to kick a 40/20 that eventually sealed the game. Cleary jr showing the poser how it’s done.

😂He's getting called out by a chick for having no heart basically. About time.

On that note too IMO it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Matterson's fellow forwards are off him bigtime.....he refuses to make any sort of tough carries up the guts. The other blokes were making tough carries from their own line and getting smashed, Princess Matto just skirts it and stays out on his edge watching from afar. The other pigs would be aware of that surely and wouldn't be too impressed.
And has anyone noticed the bloke's running style when he hasn't got the footy?? Looks like a real ponce.
