LIVE GAME Round 19 versus Warriors

Live Game Discussion
Early in the season the team seemed hyped, they were hungry, they were dynamic, they were getting away heaps of offloads they were communicating, they looked like the fittest team in the comp.

The last two weeks they seem sluggish, disconnected, undisciplined, risk averse, there was no back up to the now rare line breaks, their last tackle options have been average.

Neal the Seal moved faster than some of those guys tonight.

I guess that is difference between the fans and the players. For players, they are trained to compartmentalize, process the data, and immediately shift their focus to the next match or film session.
For fans, a loss is a passion, not a job. Fans (like us) care deeply about an outcome they cannot influence, which often makes the sting of defeat linger much longer than it does for the professionals on the field. Not saying the players are right, and I agree with your comments but that's what professionals are trained to do.
It would be nice for change if the professionals at the club were trained to win.

This is the biggest hate i have on our shit club. I want to see our players spewing their guts up after a loss needing to be stretched off from having nothing left in the tank. On deaths door

Ive probably made 100 posts sayign the same thing since 2004 since the OG forum.

Hits home more so in the last 16 years.

The last thing paying fans or any fan for that matter, the last thing i want to see direclty after a loss is smiling, laughing players high fiving each other and making plans on what night club to hit up later tonight. Hardcore fans have a week of depression and feeling like garbage while these players could not give 2 shits.

Our team just cannot deal with adversity. We get passive rather than aggressive when the chips are down. We are not coached to be aggressive.

Don't know why anyone is surprised by this. They are just a much better team than us. They have bigger, more powerful and more skillful players and have a coach who actually knows what he is doing. This was always going to be a flogging. In rd 4 I think we got them at a good time because they were dealing with all the metcalf distractions back then. This is probably what would have happened back then if they hadn't parachuted metcalf back into their team that night.

As for tonight, the scoreline honestly flatters us. We were lucky they were off discipline wise because it would have been like the panthers game. Their ill-discipline allowed us to win the possession count and all we could muster was a try from them [This word has been automatically removed]ing up in the in goal. Yet every time they got in our red zone they were stripping us for numbers so easily. The full time score probably should have been the HT score if they were really at 100%.

We just have to bin this now and move onto a much more winnable game next week. Would be great for us to get the scummy dogs twice in one season.
