Is AD taking the mick, talking about effort etc.? he was awful tonight. I like many dont think benji has the coaches around him to dig us our of this might as well blood next years team.

It's funny .....at the end of the game I switched over to the AFL and my team Collingwood
After seeing the lack of fight from the Tigers to the never say die fight from Collingwood
Send Benji down in the off season to Melbourne and learn how to install that weekly attitude at the WTs

Unfortunately AD a weak link in defence anywhere but even more exposed out in the centres. Also certainly not tough enough to defend in the middle.

He seems to have a real lack of awareness in defence and doesn’t defend as part of the team.
 
I think most of our players were trying hard but many are really not that good. Honestly we have quite a few young guys playing long minutes that aren’t quite ready for NRL, and along with that we have too many players like Bunty, Sione, Seyfarth, Toa, Skelton who would struggle to make the bench in most sides in the comp. Our overall team, when matched man for man against the opposition falls way short.
They ran harder and faster than us. They tackled stronger and won the ruck all night. They slowed us down in the ptb and got away with it. We rarely had momentum and when we did we threw it away.
Another noticeable problem we have in Attack is our basic skills level. Few of our players pass the ball out in front which makes us look slow and cumbersome. We are often reaching back or stopping to catch misdirected passes. It’s like watching poorly drilled schoolboys.

How is the only player from Benji’s era who had somewhat of a footy brain is the only one not even at the club currently. At least not in a coaching capacity. Robbie might have it in him if he decided to go down that path. Instead it’s Benji, surrounding himself with his mates, the same way he did when he played. And he’s festering them in the playing group too. It’s a culture that is pre-dispositioned to losing.
 
I’ve been to a couple hundred of our games since 2000. I’ve learned to love our team no matter where we play. I really hope you do some day, it might bring more happiness to your life
