Defensive effort from him bad in all positions mate. I remember one game he played fullback and did something that was a cross between a turtle hiding in its shell and a shoulder charge. From memory the ref was so confused he penalised him.

The problem is when we run and get tackled we accept it and just go down and wait for the opposition to get op; there is just no fight. Whereas Mulitalo etc are wiggling and fighting while being on the ground. That’s how you get penalties, that’s how you get fast play of the balls. It’s all about the desire and it’s clear not everyone in this team is wanting that.
