Line speed, chasing kicks and tackling have been a problem all year. They were a problem again tonight. There are so many other issues, but a team can't do anything without that.

Stef and Klemmer should be leading line speed and defensive intent as the starting senior front rowers but they're our worst offenders.

I think Benji talking positively after back to back 40 point games shows the team what sort of expectations he has, and they rewarded him with this effort.

We need a huge focus on fitness and wrestling. We need our coach to be disappointed when we concede 40 points.

Line speed and kick chase very frustrating. A few weeks ago vs Canberra we were challenging kicks the best we have for ages, and not surprisingly we got some results
 
With a negative points differential of 140-40 in the last 3 games does anyone think Benji has simply lost the dressing room. Really hope that's not the case and we can turn things around but when and against whom?
 
You can't sack Benji. Luai, Turuva, Api have all signed or re-signed on the basis of him as coach. If we didn't have Luai you could probably think about it, but no way you recruit a top half on the back of Benji and then don't let Benji coach him. I think our best strategy would be to get a real hard arse disciplinarian in and let Benji be the mentor personal relations type coach above all that. But there's got to be someone pushing standards and that's not Benji.

Rubbish , benji not up to the task , we should have gone for Bennett, all in ,
 
There is one really happy player in our team , that would be papa , he’s going to the panthers , because we need to bring in all these brilliant kids and he asked so nicely can I please leave , so Richo said YES , of course u can go we don’t have a replacement but it doesn’t matter , now run along and join the panthers

He was anointed, without any experience and didn’t face a competitive process.

I felt he should have waited until he had a better roster which would be easier to coach. At least a few seasons on his own in the lower grades and more time with different coaches as an assistant.

For team building, I wanted Des, Flanno, Potter or Bomber. The objective being to unravel the chaos Tim left behind.

He’s not going to go voluntarily, but each bad loss effects his credentials and Richo can and will sack coaches if he thinks he needs to. The worse we go, Richos job gets harder.

Benjis work life balance stuff isn’t cutting it obviously.
 
And when he leaves the role, he will be offered a high official possie as a face saving gesture.

Promised power and decision making responsibilities which will then probably be quietly eroded.

Due to his statute and popularity, coaching or otherwise. Some kind of sweetener for the players who are invested in him personally. Keep them happy.

That’s how I would deal with his eventual departure as coach.

As a precaution, we need a de-Benji fication plan we can roll out.

I’m not there yet, but I’m turning towards that path.

It’s the role he should have now. He has the perfect personality to be a club ambassador.

Agree. The test for Richo whether he has the gonads ,is whether he can punt Benji if we do not win another game this year? If he does'nt, then it shows he is not the all conquering CEO he has been made out to be.
