I’ll take that scoreline any day of the week. Great effort for first game of the year and blows away the cobwebs for round 3.

The more games that the boys only concede 16 or so points, the more we win. Sort of happy that we didn't get to fifty too, even if I enjoyed us moving the ball around and offloading as well.

Doueihi’s kicking was good, made some key tackles , lot to like about his performance today, took a lot of pressure off Luai with his kicking game( who was man of the match imo!) Early days, good first hit out .

Hmm dunno about that. 65-70 maybe. That opening 10 minutes of the second half was terrible. Three dropped balls in our first four sets, no defensive urgency. I’m not trying to be overly negative, it was a great opening game but that intensity drop off is still there and it’ll bite us in the arse at some point if we don’t fix it.

Going to disagree with an average point score of 16 per game.

Only 3 teams have scored less then 16 points so far.
It seems the rule changes have lead to a scorefest...

Which is cool. I get the criticism, but I kinda like it. We want to see tries. Tries are exciting and I prefer a scoreline with both teams above 20.

I suspect if we are serious about the top 8, we would want an average score above 22. ... Not that I think any of this matters. It's not how much you score, it's that you outscore your opponents

Yes, I would like it if Benji gets the team and really tunes them.

Our completion rates were pretty crap. Glad for the win, but we need to do better then this.

We won but just as well we did not play a good side,we did not respect the ball enough imho and our defence was very scratchy.Still a win is always welcome and i am sure Benji will know we have to improve and work on it at training.
