Can’t see talau or blore playing , maybe this my push sheens hand to play Bateman . Batemans not be included tells me he’s injured there’s no other reason , he will have been here for just over two weeks , and to be honest what plays does he have to learn , drop the ball on tackle 4 , miss a tackle close to the line , because I didn’t see any other plays he would need to learn 🤔

I don't mind Seyfarth....

But you can't have him and Twal in the same side. They are essentially the same player and neither bends the line / neither is an attacking threat / both are slow, low skilled, tacklers. You do not need two on the bench.

Asiati James should be on the bench...big and bends the line.

But somehow we have not upgraded him.

We don't have a spare spot in the 30. All accounted for unfortunately.

Hoping for Fonua’s sake it’s just the club erring on the side of caution and nothing too substantial.
Given how highly he and Stefano are rated by the coaching staff, there's no way they’d risk anything long term, especially with a knee.

It's close. To'a has proven himself more times. I saw he had really good metres on the weekend again. I like Tupou as well. I don't mind Talau but he has been the weakest performing out of all our options.

We have a bunch of outside backs that are close to being good players but they aren't.

Tia can't tackle. Uses his arms to tackle instead of his shoulder. Hel be ok on wing but Tupou or AJ at centre any day of the week.

Yeah thought he'd play 40 minutes in reserves this week then bench next week. Not playing means the club screwed up again and didn't do their due diligence.

On the team - totally appreciate we didn’t play well but I don’t think whole sale changes after round 1 is the way to go. They clearly think based on the off season that this is our best side so I think it’s right to give them a few games. We’ve won plenty of round one games and done terribly the rest of the year…
