After watching both games last night I wonder if Madgeball is now a thing of the past. I get the feeling to be successful now you need to be playing a skilled up and faster version of Tigers 2005. I think you need forwards who are mobile and fast, halves that have speed, top notch passing game and super kicking game. The rest of the backline needs size, speed and be good in the air.

Of course defence is important, but the days of winning game based on big aggressive forwards might not be the way to go.

Seriously he gets an exemption? Never heard of this ever happening before, despite there being many players in the NRL with different religious beliefs, who I’m sure would object also, but they have to just wear it. Obviously thinks he is bigger than the club, bigger than the NRL, bigger than bloody everything. I honestly hope the Roosters blow out of the finals early this year just so the big gimp doesn’t get the accolades and success he hasn’t earned all year.
