Seems like every week there’s a new contender for worst game of the year. Shows how bad the majority of teams are. There are only 4 good, consistent sides. The rest are garbage.

Ref's and vid ref's are worse

Tonight emphasised a big point. We will need to flat out beat teams as we will be punished by refs. Panthers and Broncos are NRL darlings they won’t want Tigers in the finals.

NRL is very amateurish finance and politics too important not a fair competition. Lacks credibility.

How unusual for a "bit" of luck to go the way of the Broncos :face_with_rolling_eyes: :face_with_rolling_eyes: :face_with_rolling_eyes: :face_with_rolling_eyes:

There goes my tip, hopes of top two in the comp, an all out multi with NQL at the line (right at the end) and potentially our slim chance of making the finals. Well done NRL, well done!

I’d stopped watching because it was a “crap” game but I truly think my subconscious knew what was about to happen

Absolute friggen disgrace. Twice Milford was caught in goal and last call of 6 again was absolute bloody bullshit. I am so bloody sick of this crap team getting victories they don’t deserve. Every friggen year !!!!!
GREENBURG YOURE OUT OF YOUR DEPTH

Brisbane and easts play and are ruled differently to other clubs, would love to live long enough for these 2 teams to have to play under the real laws of the game

'League world has gone mad': NRL coaches differ on Clifford no-try call
By AAP/WWOS

'The rugby league world has gone mad'. It was the decision that had the 17,000-strong 1300SMILES Stadium crying foul, but the NRL bunker made the correct call to deny a try for North Queensland Cowboys halfback Jake Clifford, according to Brisbane Broncos coach Anthony Seibold.

Officials decided Brisbane's Andrew McCullough was impeded when trying to make a tackle on Clifford, despite being able to make a front-on tackle as North Queensland half Clifford crossed the line. The scores were locked at 6-6 in the 48th minute when Clifford stepped off his left foot and broke an attempted tackle by McCullough to cross the white line. But after video replays showed Cowboys backrower Gavin Cooper making slight contact with McCullough, it was called back even though the hooker still was able to attempt a tackle on Clifford.

NRL legend Paul Vautin was flabbergasted at the no-try decision. "Are you serious? [Cooper standing there] affected his ability to make a tackle? The rugby league world has officially gone mad," Vautin fumed. "He [McCullough] had every chance to make that tackle."

"I didn't think it was a try. I did think he (McCullough) was obstructed," Seibold said post-match. "I'm not being biased."

Calm, but obviously seething, Cowboys Coach Paul Green did his best to avoid a fine in the post-match press conference. "It's not the right time for me to be commenting," Green said. "We need to look at did he have a chance to make a tackle and I think he did, and he didn't make it."

With the two competition points in his back-pocket counterpart coach Seibold saw it differently. "He got a crack at him after that, but the rules are you can't cut his road."

McGuire charged with eye gouging and facing 4 weeks off, ironic considering he got off 2 worse eye gouging incidents
