Don't worry about field position. Penrith carries find their front and a quick ptb. WT carries are rolled onto their back, and a slow ptb.

The game is all about the ruck, and WT just lose it every single week. Last week it was against the last placed team. WT still had a chance. Against the 4x premiers, you're going to get owned.

It doesn't matter who the players are and there has been lots of turnover over the seasons. Players at the club for several seasons just don't do it. Good players arriving from good systems do, but end up slack in this department the longer they're here. It's obviously a coaching thing, and a lack of attention to detail that isn't drilled or rectified.

What you've said is definitely true, I just think where you start your set is the most determining thing for how your set pans out. Because the defense can compress and get more numbers in the tackle to out wrestle the ball carrier to their back.... mind you our guys don't do it any way 😅
