I also can't believe people are trying to justify Radley's actions.

"All he was trying to do is save the game, he had no other option, he was trying his best" etc etc.. the fact is, the pass beat him, he overran the ball and to the wrong person. He came in from the side. He was beaten and put the kicker in danger. Same with a fullback hitting someone high or putting knees into someone's back. I love the intensity but if you run in hard like that, it's because you were beaten and are putting an attacker in danger.

I heard Gus say "he was protecting himself and he was bracing".. he is tackling the fullback with 3 people. If he can't make that tackle properly, he shouldn't be playing football.

Yeah it's mind boggling. Doesn't matter what his intention was, doesn't matter what he was trying to do, he recklessly dove at someone's legs and could've caused serious injury which is ALWAYS a chargeable offence

99% of players have no issue charging kicks down without hitting the legs. He only has himself to blame for the 3 week suspension too as he's the one who's got himself suspended so many times already this year.
