Yep.. Shock horror… It may not be fault of WT but its a slap in the face for families wanting to embrace WT plus a combination of commuters both train and M5

How is that the third best match of the round? What a shame.

Couldn't agree more Gary. I guess instead of "best" they look for the "highest rated".

Cowboys vs Eagles is the game of the round and yet shafted to Saturday nights. Fox knows Sydney will watched the Monday night game with 2 Sydney sides involved.

I know the scheduling needs to be changes, but I can't see that happening in the next deal if they want $1 billion+.

Its an absolute joke that there are only 2 afternoon games a round. Screw MNF and two games on a Friday night, its time to to play two games on a Saturday arvo

Its actually classed as 2nd best as theres only the 1 Fri niter that round.

Only positive is it should ensure a Sunday day game the following week

I reckon Friday night would be Manly vs Souths & Canterbury vs Broncos.

Who wouldn't Fox, with their next bid, get Tigers vs Dragons? I can see that being Monday night again, that game would outrate Eels vs Roosters.

How much money does the home team get compensated by the NRL for having their game on MNF? Hazarding a guess, it would roughly be around 5,000 less on MNF.

Awesome…. another Campbelltown game I get to miss, despite it being so very close to where I live. F**K Me.

At this rate i'm actually going to get to more away games this year. :frowning:

Monday night games are a pain to go to especially getting up early for work the next day, the up side is this one is close to home at least. Would have liked to go to this week's game, especially since it looks like Robbie is playing, but Newcastle just too far away on a Monday night.

Monday night will stay in next tv deal but there must be certain conditions about where games are played.

3.30pm sat game is better than a 9.30pm sat game. That may be back next tv deal

They might, youre right…they may choose WTs saints for Mon so 9 cant get the following weeks game we have against the Dogs.

Geez, we'd have 4 Monday night games in 5 weeks if that happens.

4 in 5?

Rd 18 v Bulldogs - Friday
Rd 19 v Panfers - Saturday
Rd 20 v Cowboys - Monday
Rd 21 v Souffs - Sunday
Rd 22 v Eels - Monday

Campbelltown: 2 x Monday, 1 x Saturday, 1 x Sunday
Leichhardt: 2 x Sunday, 1 x Friday, 1 x TBC
SFS: 2 x Friday, 1 x Sunday, 1 x TBC

I am not trying to start anything here. All I am saying is that you need to look past simple averages when looking at crowd averages.

It does make it extremely difficult to attend unless you live somewhere near the south-west of Sydney. If you live up on the Central Coast you're not getting home before midnight.

Only two games in Sydney - on a Friday night and Monday night!
Surely they would have thought they could get a good crowd for a Sunday arvo at Campbelltown.
Ridiculous!

Unfortunatly this is the problem when the Tigers are one of the most poular teams on tele.. I can't make that trip on the M5 that night a bummer really.. but the Campbelltown people don't have far to travel a perspective I suppose,so there should be a half decent roll up.
