That has to go down as one of the worst losses, if only because of how bad the opposition were. Can’t ever remember seeing a team play so badly, so amateurish, so error-riddled and still be in the contest, let alone win.
Then again it’s dejavu, I thought the same thing after the Knights game.

We are just at such an extremely low playing level st the moment.

Our attack is so putrid, you couldn’t even call it attack.

All the forwards were off. May has completely lost his sting.
Backline pathetic. Halves playing a solo game.

I do feel for Makasini, he is miles off an acceptable standard, even further than the rest of our subpar team. But he really shouldn’t have been picked in the first place. That one’s on Benji.

At 4pm I had a big choice turn on the box or lead up the dog. It was as a no brainer, we had a great walk.

We must be close to rock bottom now. We are basically a clueless rabble. The team and coaching is diabolical and the next win could be a very very long way away..certainly not this year

Yep. Went outside and played with the kids. Had it on in the background with the sound down and popped in and out. Much better ways to spend a Sunday arvo

He is a young bloke who should have bled into FG by a few games on the wing,instead he has been thrown to the wolves each week in a position he is nowhere near ready for.Terrible coaching and selection decisions.
We have hindered his future as a player this year not helped it.

Not entirely, it's a reflection of the lack of depth.

Toa has been carrying injuries for several seasons, Taylan May is only just back to footy and we've decided to play Doueihi in the halves.

Out of desperation Benji calls up Pat Herbert and we do a deal. That's scraping the bottom of the barrel and unfortunately Herbert has been needed every week.

Turuva is not a good centre and we are desperately short on the wings if we move him (our first choice wingers were otherwise are Lauliili and Tavana). We brought back Junior Toops for wing desperation. Skelton for some reason not favoured.

So Centre is a really weak spot for us. Toa and May is not a great preferred pairing. You'd drop Makasini to reserves if you could afford to field players better than he is.

But the other problem is - you can't necessarily afford better centres when you are paying several hundred thousand for a big reputation junior wallaby.

So you end up having to play him - sink or swim. Would be better for the club if our team didn't keep putting young players in positions to be exposed by better clubs. Its happened to the young players all year, being worked over by better sides, not just Maka.

I feel like we all have really low IQs to continue coming back each week. I have tickets to the dragons game and im gonna give them up and go fishing.

Best decision ever and just hope they win and then watch the replay. 😂

Honestly, I have defended as many people as i could this year but we are just poorly coached. I would like to know how many games with have "won" statistically and still lost because we cant create an overlap

Did you see the game? The Eels put in one of the worst performances of the season by any team. We found a way to out-terrible them.
