Yep, add to that our players constantly get penalised for "taking too long to get off a tackled player" in a 3 or 4 man "surrender" tackle if they aren't off them and back on their feet within 3 seconds, yet our opponents can lie all over our players even palming them in the face for twice that length of time!

As usual, WT cop the rough end of the pineapple. It must be a refereeing directive, penalised the Tigers out of the game.
Along with the constant crap from the media, this continual "questionable" refereeing virtually EVERY game is getting beyond a joke! Douhei contesting a bomb..where was he supposed to go?? He can't disappear. Seezer likewise, he even did his best to pull out as Ponga tripped, when the hell is an advantage taken from a knock on? How many passes/metres can a team go before they have used their advantage? That's just the 2nd half & not even every soft penalty to the home team.
Sure Newcastle probably would have won anyway, Douehi's side was leaking like a sieve BUT it's hard enough for the WT to play against an in form team of 13, playing against 14 is near impossible.

They need to take the discretion away from the advantage rule and just leave it as a free play. They’re pretty much doing that anyway.

Refs call held while players are moving, but don't call held when are payers have been stopped. So they move again, then the ref calls held and penalised for not stopping while still moving.
