Dragons have 4 wins all season and two against us. At least we normally would have beaten the wooden spooners on our way to a 13th or 14th finish in the past.

How did we dominate the stats? Possession was basically 50/50 (52/48), as was metres. We missed 7 more tackles which killed our game.

It's because of the context. A hard fought loss is not the worst but it bites extra hard on the back of 7 uglier losses.

From my awesome seat, I saw Terrell May over half time stand 10 metres behind the Dragons defence and wait for his team mates come to him, rather than jog back into the line and do his job. He did three sets in a row. That is pretty good.

That was pretty good.

The fact that we ONLY got beat by the team currently coming last was pretty good.

The fact that it only took me 20 minutes getting out of the Parramatta Leagues Club car park was pretty good.

The fact that the lines for the $15 beers were so short were pretty good, along with fact that the queue to take a leek at half time were non existant were pretty good.

Yep, it was a pretty good afternoon of quality entertainment. I could not possibly have made better use of my time and money this afternoon.

Yeah you’re right. I love those conversations where the other person states all the reasons they’re right and why the other voice is wrong. That’s actually called a debate, but that’s probably wrong, you probably have the more correct term to use. And mate, it’s never a discussion with you, which usually involves an exchange of ideas. It’s your thoughts that matter most and stuff anyone that differs. I can handle the chat just fine, what I don’t like is your never wrong attitude and the other angry men yelling at clouds that line up to please you with plaudits… only for you to finish any ‘discussion’ of you mentioning your other team. Just go support them. No shame if you can’t handle backing the team anymore. Not all of us are made of the strong stuff
 
Can't believe I wasted my Sunday watching that rubbish.
  • Terrell May - love his grunt work, genuinely amazing stuff. But can we please get him out of the back line? He kills entire sets when he touches the ball. He can get the ball on tackle 2 and we look out of shape until tackle 5.
  • Adam Doueihi & Jarome Luai - Do these two no longer get on? There were a number of times where Luai created opportunities, Doueihi was in a position to support, but he just stood there not even paying attention, setting up the next play. The communication between them looks off.
  • Doueihi Nofoaluma - oh boy does his defence suck, just like our old mate David Nofoaluma, except he plays in the halves!
Fonua Pole and Seyfarth showed the way. Just run hard and tackle hard, it's not bloody rocket science.
 
It was once again a very disappointing game for Tigers fans. We looked disinterested in every simple aspect of the game that requires effort:
Kick chase, first contact in D, ptb speed, line speed, marker D, support play.
We didn’t look enthusiastic or hungry until we were never going to win.
There are too many weak links in our squad for us to actually win a game. Looking around at virtually any other NRL team I am not sure if many of our players make the first 13 anywhere.
Today we sadly confirmed our position as the worst team in the competition.

You would think Benji is awake to that. problem is , he never did as a player. Happy to put it down where he crossed the line.

These guys haven't looked like they have cared about being there in 2 months. Can't they at least pretend to care about winning. What a disappointing lot of sad sacks. They don't deserve the salary they earn.
