Round 25 *live* discussion

Manly will be without Tom Trbojevic, Taupau, Thompson, Sironen, Paseka, Gosiewski, Boyle and potentially Parker. They had to play Fonua-Blake in the second row against Parramatta due to injuries. They are in the wars and are definitely the team you want to play week one of a finals series.

@Kazoo-Kid One game at a time folks. I do hope no one in The Tiger's Camp reads this post cos we still have a job to do tomorrow!

Agreed, let's get through tomorrow first though - it won't be easy.

Im just talking about Lottoland being used as a semi final venue. The NRL struggle for attendances then lock people out come semi final time.

@gallagher Last year Penrith had 17k at their week one semi vs the Warriors. May as well have hosted it at Penrith Park.

It actually makes sense to have week one at Suburban grounds, as it's easier for the home fans to organise themselves to get to the game. And by week two, people would've already known where they could potentially be playing two weeks in advance.

The trouble is when 2 sydney clubs meet. You gotta plan for best case scenario IMO. Remember when parra played saints at Kogarah? They would have doubled the crowd at ANZ.

Soo... We should be discussing a draw after 90 mins with the Sharks.... If the dogs do lock this win up... Would be nice for the donkeys to not make the 8 ! Very unlikely this happens, a shame tbh

Had they not been given the leg up last week against Parra they wouldn't be in the 8.

Yeah that would’ve made watching today’s game a whole lot more enjoyable. Still can’t believe Parra couldn’t beat them! Does my head in.

That hit on brooks was a shoulder charge from Ronaldo. Is he playing rugby league or football? Do we have football refs or rugby league refs? Are the commentators in England or Liechardt?

On TV Madge just said Robbie is warming up and may play. Thompson has an injury. Waiting to decide.

Great strategy having a not 100% Farah as emergency reserve (18th man). The fullback gets injured in the warm ups now we have Reynolds and Farah on the bench.

Once Thompson was ruled out in the warm up it was going to be an uphill struggle. I lost a fair amount of confidence in Madge today.

yea its like the manly game, when liddle went out

or the other game when mbye should have been brought out and talau brought in

disappointing, but hey.....

Why is it always us that misses out? How many times over the years have we been in either a 3 or 2 way battle to make the 8 and we are always the ones who lose out. I’m so bloody sick of it.
