Yeh all are very good, But Hass and Tino man....I just think they are next level. Maybe Tapine at his best is up there. At that level of good it is probably a bit subjective. I would not have May with Carrigan and AFB just yet but he's looking good

I think yeo is also top shelf but forgot about him because his role is so different.
May isnt there yet as he hasnt done it as long as those guys have, but his trajectory is heading that way. His performances this year and last are elite.
Carrigan is my man, he hasnt got the X factor of Haas, Tino and Tapine, but he is the ultimate dog and Id want him in my trench anyday of the year.

Lomax looking like he wished stayed at Saints.
What sort of a clown elects to take a pay cut to go and play for a bunch of losers in a position he was previously struggling in after your current coach has made a positional change that sees you playing the best football of your career and earns you selection at a representative level.

To be fair he played his guts out for the Parra-sites today and no one could deny the effort that he put in.

You would think that at some stage there must be some regrets.

@Jolls do we have to rush Katoa in defence?
Sorry UTT, I was away up in Sydeny at a relative's 60th so didn't see this. I think rushing Katoa woudl be fraught wtih danger as he is so quick on his feet. We difinitely needed good line speed to counter this and the up an in in our own red zone was pretty effective at shutting down plays; however, it did create opportunites, that he took, as a result of our line speed and the depth created by the umberella (presenting gaps in two dimesions). Having said that our scramble for the most part nullified it.

The first Dolpins try was not caused by Toa rushing out of the line (as many have indicated). That try was on Taruva who didn't follow him up and jam in. This meant Bula had to hang back to provide cover for the inside man whch provided the sapce needed to get the ball down. If Taruva had followed the system they don't score there.

The second try was simply Saifiti runing a line at a hole. Nikorima dug deep into the line and althugh Twal appeared to have him covered May planted his feet to be the second man in, that decision was where the system broke down. Twal had Nikorima covered and had turned out to do so, May should have also turned out and slid off to Saifiti. Api had already turned out to cover ether Marshall King out the back or Katoa with the face ball. It won't go down as a missed tackle for May, but it is all on his poor read there.

Canberra had no chance in that game due to the officiating. They may not have won it anyway, but every team needs to be given the same opportunity The discretionary 6 agains with a lopsided penalty count and sin bin, game over at 40 minute mark and Manly fans giggling.

Yeh, just saying, if I’m Ricky I’d be proud of their effort even considering the scoreline. Raiders tried everything to slow down the ruck, but the big, skilful hard running Manly forwards were too much. Pretty solid pack when Bulimore had to wait on the bench before coming on to score a couple of tries. He owes Brooks a beer for those two.
