We are going away from the original statement which was an off the cuff comparison.
I hoping we didn't lose stef because we all saw what he could produce when he wanted to but for whatever reason he spat the dummy and wanted out.... he was a big loss ... not saying he wasn't... but may is going better than him ATM that undisputed

Yeah, fair enough mate. There was about half a dozen comments in the thread along the lines of how much better off we are with May and yes as an off the cuff statement it is true. But it seems to build a narrative real or imagined (likely imagined by me it seems) that it was some kind of masterstroke and that Utoikamanu (or someone of his ilk) is not needed in the current pack.
