Round 3 match ups SPOILER ALERT

Why didn't Cammy get a penalty then for running into Matt Scott and falling over…

If Paul Green is such a great coach why does he just keep using Taumalolo as a battering ram - what a waste of a talent.

Ahaha vunivalu is having a shocker opening to the season

What a hog. How do you not give the fox early ball the fullback had no chance of catching him.

Green clearly doesn't think much of TMM how did he think Morgan was right to play.

The commentators on CH 9 even said the ref yelled out to maggot Cam "not this time" after he tried to con them for a penalty. They are obviously onto his pathetic, blouse tactics of diving for penalties yet they continue to fail to penalise the cheating dog.
It was only a few short seasons ago that the refs point-blank refused to give Farah any penalties for running into markers who were not square/offside regardless of whether a penalty was warranted or not.
Shame they don't have the balls to have the same hard line stance against Smith.

Qlder on Qlder ….play on

typical in bred response..

How about discussing the consistency of decisions…Storm gave away 6 consecutive penalties defending their line at one point..at no point did Checin think to use the bin because 12 on 13 in the GF re-match would not have been a good look...

I'm all for penalising teams for repeated infringements... I hope it continues right through to the Grand Final ...but get consistent with the use on the bin..

You may now resume you toad licking..thank you..

I was thinking at that stage with the amount of penalties a storm player would be marched…he allowed them to flaunt the rules

Its becoming a problem for teams in attack so close to the line, their isnt the room to move, the PTB has slowed right down, defences are up in your face...doesnt make for good viewing...its Rugby like the amount of stoppages were seeing

You can't really blame the rule change. It was ridiculous what they used to get away with. Sometimes they weren't even getting to their feet to play the ball. Like Cam said in the post match interview it's just going to take some time for teams to adjust to the slower PTB. They were only advised of the rule change a few weeks prior to the season commencing.

I totally agree with your and Ink's comments , and I think we'd all agree that the tail wags the dog

NRL makes rules and then the clubs spend the next few months seeing how far they can bend them without breaking them

Think of every new rule Play the Ball , HIA , wrestle …..what happened with the move to 6 interchanges ???

They claim it takes the players a few years to get used to changing their body shapes , fitness levels etc and then we see Sam Kasiano .....one pre season .......

The NRL are too scared to upset the clubs , if they do the clubs will threaten revolt again ...... :deadhorse:
