Looking towards his next contract. Guy has checked out of the Tigers, bet the deal for his next club is already done so he doesnt have to prove anything until his next contract is up with them in 4 years. Its the same with most just average first grade players. Sign your deal, play like shit for 3 years and then play well for 6 weeks until you get another contract. Looks checked out and going through the motions of his last year. He wont be here in the future.

Games like that ARE the reason we will continue to miss the 8. Every fan should be mega pissed that was lost tonight, none of this 'time to gel' bullshit or 'its only early'. When there is 5 rounds left and we need to win 5 and be lucky results go our way to scrape into the 8, these are the games that mattered early on. If the Tigers are to ever become a force lol they need to put these games to bed early in the year. If the Tigers are not 3-3 by round 7, write the year off.

Our run home is all away games too, so even more important to start the season well.

It will be back to back losses, no way we're beating the wahs. On a Friday night too so will ruin the weekend.

Souths only beat us on 2 of the 31 stats categories. I’m not so concerned about the attack. While we didn’t score tries we did enough to get Souths gassed. Thats our strategy and it’s a smart one. Work hard early score late. I reckon if Luai didn’t go off we easily score a couple of tries late like we did in the first half.

dreaming, Jerry had a massive amount of chances and pulled Buckleys out of his bum crack all night. Stayed on, we still lost. And you reckon in the last 10 he would have put on 2 tries. Tell him hes dreaming.

The attack was the main concern all of last year. It doesnt look like its improved at all. You should be very concerned.

I see some promise compared with previous years but they need to be slicker in attack when close to the line. Benji could often get away with running around like a headless chook, but these guys don't have his talent.

Douehi's Burton bomb for Maka's try was great. He ought to work on that when he recovers.

The Newcastle loss in Rd 1 and the reactions on here is forever seared into my brain. Coming onto this forum and half the crowd saying its early and they need time to gel. Shits me to no end. That crowd seems to think you only get half a point for a win in the first 10 weeks.
