Round 4 spoilers

There is no fatigue…. There is no continuity... How will Footballers perform in these type games you didn't even watch yet comment on?

Simple , change the interchange to 5 come Rd 10

That'll fix em

And you watch SOO will come along and we will have 4-3 penalty count :deadhorse:

I hope the fortitude continues as it's long overdue. That said, so is the use of the five minutes in the bin.

Just switched on. Fatty is blowing up, so they must be doing something right.

Anyway, I agree with you, hope they see it through too, even if the footy is ugly. From the little bit I saw, and the rest of the games this year this is what it will take to stop the game being dominated by the same tactics we've blown up about for years. What is the point of rules when the same things go unpunished time after time until it suits the refs, like against us last week. I'd rather see every infringement penalised and no more chummy behaviour between refs and players.

Commentators aren’t helping tho, getting stuck into the refs

To be fair I barely watched the game and the commentators might be right about tonight, but I think the overall point to be square at marker, play the ball properly and stay onside will add to the product in the long term.

thank you all
exactly my point at the start of this thread.
refs do make wrong decisions but overall they are trying to enforce the rules of which the boundary has been pushed to no limits. i want fast play the balls, quick rucks, tired piggies, quick line speed etc but not at the expense of bending the rules as we have seen.

.. and the commentators need to shut up about the calls. if you want to air an opinion do it on footy shows or other media NOT during the game!

Melbourne’s behaviour at the end of the game was disgraceful. Spoilt, petulant brats couldn’t handle not being able to control s football game. A couple might be in trouble with the review committee. This may be ugly but it’s way overdue.

Yeah good losers the Storm are. As of a Solomona refusing to shake hands with Gallen, Gallen is a gold plated knob but he has the toughness to have it all over the Storm- they had 4 or 5 blokes in every tackle on him all trying to take him out with chokeholds/twisting the head etc and they couldnt break him down. Don't the little Melbourne darlings let their bottom lip drag the floor when someone outmuscles them. Cameron Munster is proudly upholding the Storm tradition of being a real Cat, someone hopefully will put his smartarse head into the grandstand in the near future. Well done Sharks.

Very professional presser Smith & bellamy

I'm not so sure. To me it looked like 2 blokes who knew within themselves that the better team won tonight. Sharks played them physical and the Storm couldn't handle it, love the way the Sharks always best those maggots in physicality. The Storm are the NRLs diving experts it seems after Kickin' Billy tonight and Smith against us…....I would love for a ref to have the balls to sin-bin a bloke taking a blatent dive like those 2 have, that would stop the rot.
People that are put in the bin should have 60 seconds to leave the field or be sent off for the match, watching Smith ponce about whilst treating the touchy like a fool is absolute garbage.

Here’s a thought.
What happens to the conditioning of the players if they get to the point in the season where they actually push themselves to get back on side, be square at marker, play the ball correctly?
THEY GET TIRED.
Therefore the game opens up!
It’s not great to watch at the moment but if the teams actually played to the rules we’d have some far better looking games in the long run.
Finally it’s being policed.
I’m not a fan of introducing a 5min bin I believe a better option to be considered to ensure the rules are continually enforced is an automatic sin bin of the teams captain for more than three consecutive ruck or offside penalties when defending the line. That would encourage players and coaches to get the message a bit quicker.

Will Chambers will most likely be charged for this.

Not sure who threw punches but people seem to think NAS, Fifita and Gallen threw down at the end of the game.

Think we're a very good chance of beating the Storm again next week. Melbourne's left hand edge is suspect and we should target Vunivalu with kicks.

No-one threw any punches. Nelson is the weakest big man in the game, seems to be a real tart. Vunivalu has on at least a few occasions seem to 'pride' himself on pushing/punching blokes from behind, against Kasiano last season and again tonight he courageously had a go at blokes who weren't looking.

Wow! a love fest for Gallen and the Sharks…. who would have thought!!!

Both teams are as bad as one another. Bad luck they both couldn't have been beaten.

Had to laugh at Cammy when sent to the bin - stood at the sideline and refused to get off when requested by linesman. Pointed to his shoes like a spoilt brat that couldn't accept his punishment. Linesman should have called ref over and had him sent off for rest of game.

He was just buying some time for them to sub Brandon Smith on.

I reckon, everyone seems to forget the Sharks are cheats too. Peptide Paul is in the same category as Smith and Slater.

Best result would have been a North Korean nuke hitting the halfway line.

I'm sure Chambers reminded Gallen about that last night.

Doesn't make it right, as the guy spends the best part of a quarter of each game buying time for the team. Thank goodness the refs finally acted toward him in an assertive manner.
