AD and Twal are winning us games. Most of us were prepared to write them off. But this isn't just about 1-2 players winning us games. It's been a team effort with a next man up mentality.

I think a lot were writing them off (including me) a couple of years ago.
Both were very good last year - I still believe AD was our best for the year - and Twal is adding nuance to his performances that is making us a stronger team.

Because Madden has him standing deep so he gets the ball at speed.
That's why we need Madden at half. He can exploit Doueihi at 5/8.
Luai could be our set play problem.

Well I couldn’t have been more wrong 🤣. I thought it was crazy to play AD, and he had a blinder.

Our defence was good after the first 25 and our young outside backs adjusted well during the game. That was the most impressive part - Makasini in defence, Tavana under the high ball and putting pressure on the Warriors leading to a few tries.

Madden looked good. Best game in Tigers colours and our forwards stood up too.

Great win and I know Im nitpicking. But even though the defence was good May and Pole did not much with the ball.

May - 7 runs for 58m
Pole - 6 runs for 59m

If we have metre eating wingers and Twal going hard you can let it go but I feel we need more from the front row. Maybe put Sione on and drop Pole back to bench. Unsure. They need to hit the line harder.

Best win against all the odds in years. Some how they are going to have to squeeze Luai
Madden and Doughie into the same 13 with Latu as 14. That is a combo that could match it with the best. Don’t forget the forwards are doing the ground work….great effort across the squad

Yeah not sure. I don't think Pole and May work as a front row in attack anyway. Twal was the only one with go forward through the middle.

Luai will be there. Douhie and Madden fight it out for halfback. Madden is a more genuine halfback. But can't leave douhie out of. The side.
