2 words for you: Trap Game. If we hold on close for 60 minutes, we will win mark my words. They’ve had 12 errors and penalties in last 10 minutes of their game this year with 3 tries. Boys will be drilled in to prepare for late game after last weeks 💩
I'm confident we win one of the next 2. I think we are back to the old mid-table tigers who missed the 8 because of dropping easy games but could mix it with good teams. I have no evidence as we haven't played a top team yet, but I'm getting those vibes and think we are 3 and 3 heading into our own trap game against parra

Broncos are a good team. I remember Reece Walsh tearing us a new one last year in Campbelltown, then all the kids wanted his autograph instead of the home team. Adam Reynolds is an amazing player who will turn it on against us. Luke L will be under a lot of pressure under the high ball.

He’s due . He’s been poor this year . I just hope he holds his bounce back game for next week .
Payne Hass is a beast I have zero idea how we are going to contain him . And I reckon Reynolds will target Luke’s wing .

At first I thought the bronx are gonna smash us 13+ easy but when you think about it when the tigers are at home & are favourites to win they always lose but when they give us no chance we have a shot just like the dolphins game I think we have a chance to win this so it will be a good indicator or where we're at & where we're heading

we're 2-0 away and 0-2 at "home" (Campbelltown Stadium)

Extremely tough match this one. TBH can't see us winning if it's 17 vs 17 for the full game. If we get lucky and they lose a player or two to injury/sin bin, maybe an upset on the cards. Worry we could be blown away in the first 20 though so I think Api really needs to take control early and keep the game as slow as possible in the early exchanges. Kick the ball out, kick early, take any penalty goals on offer etc. If we're still in with a chance at the 60th minute, will be a job well done and gives us a chance.

The touch line is an under utilised tool for controlling momentum. We would be wise to keep their wingers in doubt all of the time. Concerned about coming too far forward becasue fo the kick or too far back because of the shift. It could be a real advantage for us as we can slow the game down as required; this is the art of the game as opposed to the strict science that seems to have prevaded the coaching mindset. The down side of the tactic is that it means the oppositon also takes longer to tire. We just need to understand how the momentum is and use the tactic wisely.

If we can't maintain at least 50% possession we will get smashed - they are too big, fast, and experienced right across the park. Limit errors and kick chase well and we can at least compete. Any advantages their way and we in a world of pain. Can't see how we win this one.

Madge has an axe to grind against us. The Broncos will be up for this game. If we switch off for 5-10 minutes like we have in most games so far this year. It will be 13+

Yeah I dare say madge will have the Broncos primed for this one. Couple
of extra days off extra than us. Home Ground advantage.Enough cap space to
fit another international in late in the off season. Everything against us.

Hopefully broncos turn it down a couple of levels because the channel 9 aren't
around.

Love to get the upset up there. Geez everything will have to go our way.

I don't expect us to win, and if we do we'll have to be near perfect without Luai, but they are beatable.

coming off two high intensity Queensland derbies there's a fair chance there's a bit of hangover and they start a bit flatter than usual. Piakura's coming in for Riki on their right edge and there will be opportunities to score points there. we just have to take them.

biggest thing for us is long kicking game and organisation. we're going to struggle without Luai in both departments. if these young'uns can find their voice and Api brings his best footy, we'll give them some headaches.

Starting to read a lot of pessimism
Saying we will finish down the bottom again
This team is different
2 big wins and 2 losses by 2 points
Last 2 weeks we were down and fought back and with just an ounce of luck we would have beaten the Warriors
This year we've scored 16 tries conceded 10 and kicked 15 out of 17 attempts
We do need a bit more depth eg Taylan May
You can understand/forgive the pessimism of Tigers fans. E.g. my kids have never seen Tigers play finals footy and they are 11 and 9.

HOWEVER I agree with you that this team is showing something new, a fight that hasn't been there for a long time. The teams that beat us so far are pretty decent sides and we've fought right to the last play, going very close to winning.

The reality is if you are competitive every week and most games go down to the wire, you will win about half of those unless you are in a purple patch. Winning half your matches will usually get you to the finals. So it's a decent benchmark.
