Good summation Chad,I honestly think that they will show some more maturity as far as NRL Rugby League goes because the youth are getting more experience at it,they have good leaders in Api and co and they are hopefully starting to play as a team and not individuals. They have to start understanding its a team game and they all have to play a part as the team gameplans and structured are put in place..
I hope they at least put up a great performance win lose or draw...
I actually think Turuva & Bird are so important this week- keeping players focused, showing the will to fight hard.

We know May will be May, but I don't see him holding the team together.

The leadership on field we see from Turuva & Luai, with Api has been the biggest driver for me. I expect Bird is part of that- and with him in the starting line-up, he's needed to lead now more than ever.

What Galvin & Latu do can only run off the back of the guys around them keeping us in the game.

True our record at LO is better and fans love going there but CSS is closer to our juniors.
Funding coming to both venues would suggest that there will be no preference in the near future so games split will continue.
Then if one gets dumped the Wests vs Tigers infighting crap rears its ugly head all over again even though they are a dying breed.
Complete new ground central to both areas appears to be the answer but can't see that happening for decades.

It wasn’t a shot at Campebelltown, but unfortunately it is a fact that we struggle there. I do want fans going to all the home games hoping we win, but the record for Campbelltown is worse than all our other home grounds. I want it to be better so fans will be excited to go there as well as Leichhardt or where ever we call home, but they have to fix it now for Campbelltown. If they don’t start changing the win percentage around, fans will stop going since they’ll all decide that we can’t win there.
We struggle at Cambo, yet winning one extra game per 18 months at LO isnt struggling also?
Those 6 wins since 2016 have really made a difference 😏

This argument has been put forth for 25 years, and its stupid

Do you expect 50% between the two over such a period of time?
What odds would that be

Its like me tossing a coin 10 times on my side of the road and getting heads 6
I cross the road and get heads 4 times

LO has won 6 games more over 9 years...wow!

If we played all our games at either CSS or LO the win rate would rise
All I’m saying is if the club wants to play more at Campbelltown they need to actually bloody win the games when they are there to begin with. Yes we’ve had some horrible teams in those 9 years HOWEVER!!! Leichhardt has managed to win at least close to 50% of those games even with a horrible team at times. This year Campbelltown has 4 games we’ve already played 2 and lost both of them, best result we can hope for now is they win the remaining 2 to make it an even 50%. But if they really want to make it a home they need to win majority of the time they play there if they want more games and fans to be held there.

I didn’t say Leichhardt wasn’t struggling 13/30 is, but they have won close to at least 50% of those. Campbelltown only winning 7/30 is very very bad. Hell we were lucky that Belinda Sharpe last year called the forward pass against the Rabbitohs otherwise last year we would have only won 1 game at Campbelltown instead of the 2 that we did when we played 5 games there last year.

Thing is even if we dumped LO and CSS we would most likely just play out of the current bigger stadiums full time. We wouldn’t be able to get a new stadium that’s just for us.

Do you think if we played there full time the win ratio would improve?

Stands to reason the more you play ( the bigger the snapshot) the likelihood more positive results would follow

Anyway, LO is bad results ( not finals figures) CSS is even more bad (non finals win rate)...its like solid shit and runny shit

CSS nees a helluva lot of work, as does LO....i highly doubt we are going to CSS full time anytime soon

This issue has been a problem for us since we first took games to Homebush, like Govts with too hard probs, they just put it in the basket for the next CEO to handle

No one can predict what's going to happen 20/30 years from now with populations growing, but true there is probably more chance of the old idea at Liverpool sharing with the Dogs or another sport that has more legs
If it had capacity of 30/40 thousand imagine the local derby against the Dogs, the rivalry and atmosphere it would generate.

Honestly I don’t know if the record will improve if they played full time at Campbelltown. I would hope so but winning only their past 7/30 there ain’t good enough to say they would improve simply playing there full time. With Leichhardt it’s also a worry, but I think fans wouldn’t fear as much given their record is better there. But I would hope the record would improve if they did play full time at either ground. Agree both grounds need work though.

Best idea
In saying that though the bigger stadiums plan also has its flaws. We play at Accor it’s an 80K stadium that only gets around 20-30K at best and all you see is empty seating. Should only be used for Origin and the GF. CommBank might be the best one since it’s close to the COE and not that far where the club trains, but it does have Parra Leagues club across the street and while they may not own it they certainly have the most influence over it. Allianz is in the east and wouldn’t exactly be a smart move for a Western Sydney club playing in the eastern suburbs and I don’t think many fans will make the effort to go there for us as a home game.

You’re right no one can predict what will happen in 20/30 years, maybe that could happen a stadium at Liverpool that’s shared between Dogs and Tigers. But it’s still a long wait and see in that regard.

Lol maybe the team will be top of the ladder by then, the jewel in the crown.

As sad as it would be, one home ground is the answer. You can't be running the team all across Sydney to play home games.

Juniors and KOE Cup can play out of these grounds each week.

It's got to be CommBank or Homebush. There are no other choices.

On another note, in an era where we have copped 3 wooden spoons, to have 13/30 wins at Leichhardt shows the place is different, but we dilute the home ground advantage by splitting games the way we do, so no point in having it... Maybe 1 game each to appease fans.

If it was out of the 2 I’d probably go CommBank. Playing in an 80K stadium when no club gets close to that many home fans for a regular round game is not a good environment.

I have always said Homebush should be our homeground and it is up to us to get large crowds and win there

So in.other words youre saying the games we won at LO we would have lost if played at Cambo.
It just doesnt add up.

No I’m not saying that, what I’m saying is most fans will have more FAITH of winning those games had they been played elsewhere. Doesn’t mean they actually will win but given the record they would have more faith of it happening. But like I said they want to turn it around, they need to start winning.

We’ll never get a solid home ground playing at Accor though. 80K stadium when at best you’ll get 20-30K that’s 50-60K of empty seats.
