Round 6 *live spoilers* Discussion thread

Thought the Dogs got rorted 'Big Time' in the PTB by the Ref. and the 'sin bin' was a joke.

Love the new rules but it gives the Ref too much lee way to use his discretion, instead of ref'ing fairly for both sides.

Is it just me or has Jennings really turned the clock back ...playing well consistently

Michael...yes
Robert ..no

There both bludgers - go missing big time during the game.
One of them does something now and again - the other yet to do anything.

What about George Jennings ?
Do you think we should make a play for him ?
?

Titans should sack Mal, he has made bugger all improvements since he has been there

IMHO Mal is a Coaching Myth. My grandmother could have coached QLD to win those series. He has next to zero rep at club level.

Could not agree more, and I seen him do something one day at Jindabine that changed my opinion of him forever, not for the better either

Just put allegedly in front of it and tell us 🙂

Not allegedly, I saw it, Mal was playing for the raiders at the time, he had one of his broken arms, he had plaster on it.
A little boy about 7 years old came up to him with a pen and pad, asked for an autograph.
Mal looked down at the kid and said “F*** off”, the little kid nearly wet his pants and walked off crying.
I have hated Mr what has rugby league done for me ever since.

I would expect nothing less from "Mr what has rugby league done for me"

An immortal boil on the backside of Rugby League.

Could not agree more Russ

Definitely agree with this! It does still seem that ruck officiating is inconsistend, sometimes I can't see any difference between the ruck where 6 again was awarded, to many of the previous rucks where it was just play on... and I missing something?

Dogs, like us, are often on the wrong side of the ledger when it comes to ref decisions during matches, but don’t worry they’ll get the 50/50 calls finally go their way when they play us next week ?

The Round 7 match between the Penrith Panthers and South Sydney Rabbitohs on Thursday night will be relocated from Campbelltown Stadium to Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

NRL Head of Football Graham Annesley said the game would be played on a fresh surface.

“Campbelltown Stadium has had an extremely heavy workload over the last month, with some games played in wet conditions. The staff at Campbelltown Stadium have done an excellent job hosting a number of teams,’’ he said.

Cheers Geo.

Read Harry picked up the 3 points on the weekend. Surely he'd be looking pretty good for rookie of the year.

Watching the storm play, I'm starting to think that he would add to them this year. They could do with his energy. Never knock a champion but the new rules suit him more than CS

Mate Jason Taumalolo is so wasted in that Cowboys team, imagine how huge his impact would be if he played in a really good team.

If other grounds were able to be used during lockdown the NRL’s scheduling was poor.

Three games back to back at Campbelltown was risky and the bucketload of rain Saturday night didn’t help the surface.
