Has anyone seen Jock play dummy half? Hopefully he can as this could be what we need to help Api longer term. I reckon Jock will get decent game time. Firstly as dummy half and then to halfback with Jerome at 6. Douiehi will have a roving commission with maybe Herbert going back to the bench.

Luai is going to have to be on. Imagine the articles that will come out if we lose after putting Madden onto the bench.

You would think Jerome would be nervous and have a lot of weight on his shoulders coming back into a side that has been winning with Jock in control.

The only similarity is who we are playing and that we're favourites.

This Tigers team could not be further apart in approach from that Terry Lamb team, Brisbane haven't asked their assistant to coach and it isn't really a team of junior unknowns we're playing.

Couldn't get any better providing and this is a big IF
That both Taylan and Luai are truly fit and I mean match fit !

Note Madden is benched but at 14 its like he's first cab off the rank
How bench is used ? Will be interesting
Hunt ,Sione important ,Seyfarth and Latu handy to cover injuries

Good news,we don't have the 2 Qld loving refs involved in our game (No Klein or Sutton) however we do have Atkins (bunker) who also tends to shaft us

Jarome will be in the headlines always regardless. After every NSW origin loss he is always the scapegoat. After the 2023 GF the negativity around him was insane. It's just continuing again with the same detractors who have been doing it for years

Respectfully disagree, the pressure will move to who ever is playing the 7. Depending on how the game plays out, the talk will be madden to 7 AD to centre or lock. IMO madden has created the space for Adam and he will need to do the same for Jerome. Of course unless Jerome has a shocker.

My concern about this game is there are a number of positional changes from the last few weeks.

Broncos team still strong, especially 1-7

Keep it close for the first 25 and our bench should be able to do its thing once they come on. That's where we can take control again

Sadly I do, I was at Campbelltown that night. The Wests Tigers were red hot favourites to win that game.

Boy did those boys get their arse handed to them, totally out played, out enthused. That game was a REAL gut punch that has never been forgotten.

Of course we should, home ground, in form. Let’s embrace it and say we deserve to be favourites and will play like that.
You can’t aspire to be the underdog to succeed.
Confidence is growing, and that means we have nothing to fear by being the
favourites.
