Storm looked more threatening in the 2nd 40 when Cammy's flat/forward passes from DH took effect. Massive advantage being able to get away with them against a tiring defensive line.

Grant has learnt well off him - he throws the flattest/forward passes i have seen in a long time - and gets away with it.

Where are all the Momo knockers now, especially the one that basically called me a drunk and scarecrow lover, for wanting Momo back here.

I’m here. He did nothing all game and then scored a try at the end that Elton John could have scored. BJ and Mbye are far better centres.

I do think BJ and Mbye are better centres , however I thought Momo had a solid game, and that try his scored was really well done, he had to beat a few and made Morris look ordinary in defence.

In the first half near the Storm try line, Momirovski twice made tackles which resulted in knock ons against the Roosters. He's certainly unorthodox, but he repeatedly comes up with smart plays. Near any try line with a little space, he will almost certainly score. He always beats the first tackle and that us all it takes.

Friend was an idiot for pushing the player playing the ball.

Penalty everyday.

Why not 6 again? What’s the different that’s all I’m confused about. That’s been 6 again every other game.

Because the ref gives what he believes is the best advantage ...the best advantage was the penalty ..it really is that simple

I don't mind having a bloke who adds close to nothing, when that "close to nothing" is 13 tries in 15 matches. That was a clutch play from Mommers tonight; there was every reason to think he'd get tackled by the ample cover.

The PTB's are an absolute mess as far as abiding by the rules of playing the ball goes. It needs to be cleaned up and refereed strictly to prevent a game being absolutely gift-wrapped to a team when the penalty could've easily gone either way.

You have a valid point there FTB. I’m pretty sure lots of penalties have been given to the defending team because a player hasn’t gotten to their feet before playing the ball, yet in this instance it went the other way because of Friend’s interference. No doubt Friend did the wrong thing, but where do you draw the line when both players have infringed.

Which game of ours this year was it when Thompson/Nofoaluma? got pinged at a critical time for not getting to their feet? It wasn't even as blatant as last nights one. Certain teams will get the continued rub of the green where others most definitely do not. Even skidmark Bellamy conceded "we might have got a bit lucky at the end" in his press conference.
Storm seem to get quite a few games gifted to them on the back of a penalty right in front to end the contest. Last night, last year vs Knights.....
Question for someone statistically minded out there: can anyone recall WT ever getting a game gifted to us with a game-sealing penalty? In our 20 years I cannot even recall a single one.
