Round 9: 3,2,1

This is the most difficult 3, 2, 1 of the year. So many strong performers but here's my take;
3. Klem - truly outstanding work rate and metreage
2. Bula - hard to leave him out with try assist, excellent taking of bombs and the try saver on Cleary
1. Koroisau - such an influential player, just about our best attacker and makes so many critical tackles
Honourable mentions: Twal (really marching up the field at the moment), Toa (another gutsy and penetrative performance), Pole (busy in attack and defence)
Don't know if Twal has deliberately changed his running style in recent weeks but he looks far more likely to make a break

A very solid TEAM performance considering the conditions.

3. Api - He is deadset a true 9 and leader as he knows exactly how to control the ruck.
2. Brooks - 2 40/20 and a massive game considering how he has been playing.
1. Klemmer - Just does his job every week.

Special mention for Bula under these conditions as he was excellent as well
Great to have a win finally.

3 Brooks
2 Koroisau
1 Klemmer

Bula, Papali'i and Twal, amongst others unlucky.

Plus Wakeham for nailing the great set play grubber to score our opening try, which provided the impetus to truly believe a win against all odds was possible.

3 - Brooks (credit where it's due. He had some massive plays tonight that helped us get the W)

2 - Bula (big plays on both defence and offense. Only going to get better with more experience)

1 - Twal (Stefano and Klem were both incredible and started with some power running and solid defence. Twal kept it going and added some punch in that crucial period before and after half time. Finally looks threatening with the ball and had some big carries).

3 - Api
2 - Brooks
1 - Bula

Wish there were more points to give away as it was a fantastic effort under extreme wet conditions.

Bula was really safe under the high ball and that try saving tackle was incredible, just want to see him backing up through the middle to pick up any scraps that might be on offer.

I like Naden but gee he has a few brain explosions. He can go stand in the naughty corner for the week, don't want to see him turn into what Peachy was when he was with us.

Agree with what @Demps had to say about being nervous when Tommy Talau came on, was expecting him to drop a ball cold and cost us big time in the dying minutes.

Bonus point to anyone on here that was at the game.

Don't know if Twal has deliberately changed his running style in recent weeks but he looks far more likely to make a break
Agree, he is running with some aggression and the last few weeks he seems to have developed an off load that I thought he should have always had in his game.

Wisely, with tonight's weather conditions he just ran hard and didn't chance the off load which could have been risky.

Twals numbers were massive off the bench tonight

3. Brooks - kicking game and defence good, this needs to be the norm. Would still prefer him at 6 and get a 7
2. Api - led from the front outstanding
1 Bula - great pass for nofo try and good tackle on cleary along with his bomb defuses

Honourable Mention
Twal - his metres and running has been great last few games
Nofo - didn't leak any points well done
