Broncos given 4 points this season so far by incompetent officials …. as Pay said last night IT IS LIKE WE WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO WIN (sour grapes maybe)then I thought of the penalty in front in the Tigers game. Interesting comments but when these blatant calls that regularly happen in Broncos games one has to wonder it is blatant to say the least.

I read on the LU forum that under Sutton the donkeys have won 12 straight matches at home.Under the present administration at the NRL many peoples perception of "favouritism" or "incompetence" is very high.Something smells like a rotten fish

I'm going to put a grand on the Broncos next time they have Sutton at home.

On the Broncos-Dogs game, I supported the penalty against Mbye. The sin binning was irrelevant at that stage, but he shouldn't have handled Boyd.

Not much in it, but a penalty 100% of the time for mine, 1st minute or 80th.

What Dogs should really be doing is looking in the mirror and asking themselves how they twice let a 6-point lead get reeled in, including the last fairly soft try to Ofahengaue. And on the last play, Broncs throw a bad pass, Oates is allowed to retrieve the ball and charge across-field, straightening and making some 20 metres to put the Dogs under extreme pressure.

Yes the calls were difficult, but it's like Tigers last week, you also got to ask yourself why you let the opposition get in point-scoring positions with dumb plays.

I think most of us realise that our current squad just don’t have the quality, size and speed to consistently compete with some of the teams out there.

Also teams can see us coming now and are ready for our game so it’s harder to get early game results. Teams like the Knights and the Warriors are in same boat and although the Dragons have a great squad their depth and consistency will be severely examined over next ten weeks.

We are still on track to achieve a small step to overall performance improvement for this season and then build up our squad for further step up next year.

Any talk of top four finish and serious premiership threat is just wishful thinking.

The Broncos don't deserve to be 4 points higher on the ladder with the way they're playing either, but they are.

Broncos and Eels are NRLs protected species. Refs will always give them any 50:50 calls.

You've put some sort of line thru Tigers, Warriors, Knights and potentially Dragons, so who is left? That's half the Top 8\. Who are the real deals now?

Klein has had such a massive influence on this game…. It's just so very wrong... It snot rugby league, it's penalties and sin bins

Klein gave the Cows a huge leg up in the first half it was like he put his house on them.
I really believe that he is way out of his depth as an NRL ref even ISP might be above his standards.

No just saying my expectation for this year is that, at best, we challenge for one of 5-8 spots as best case scenario….. and Yes I believe current roster is just 3 class players short to challenge some of the sides in full flight.
And that I will be satisfied if we maintain the fighting performance we showed to date. For me that is a good platform that we have built for next year provided we make some good purchases and improve our roster ..... and I’m sure that Cleary has that well in hand.
Not trying to be too negative just stating what I believe we are capable of for this year and what’s realistically achievable. If I’m proved wrong I would be v happy mate.

Agree "momo&medo" - our aim should be (and with the people that count) getting into the eight. That is a realistic goal.
Next year grab a couple of needed players and we can improve on this years result.

I agree and Cleary himself has said this team is far from the finished product - it will take a couple of years to get it to where he wants it. And I am assuming he is talking about skills and player roster.
