They got off to a decent start like they usually do, now have gone off the boil…like they usually do. Halves are terrible and and an aging 1 and 9. Please don’t tell me you feel the need to talk them up to make us look better.

Why wouldnt we feel better unless you someone who prefers losing - and when did decent become talking up.

Some other observations:

6. We are two forward injury/suspensions away from getting a big drop off.
7. Richo’s signings, soon to be announced, will be interesting. A couple more good additions and we could be right in the mix next year.

I'm hoping they are June 30 signings that help us out this year, we are running out of troops a third of the way through the season.

Decent /mediocre one and the same. Any victory is a good victory especially for a three peat wooden spoon side who needs to learn how to win against any team and was smashed by the same side twice last year. I'm more than happy with that - they are all worth 2 in the end.

Absolutely running out of troops. We already have a decreased roster so each injury is compounding

All you have to do is beat your opposition on the day. St George are a decent side comparable to us on most levels and have consistently smacked us in recent times . We are an improved footy side and we did what we needed to imperfectly - win.

Wasn't too long ago that St.George beat the Storm.

Not suggesting that this is some sort of an indication of how we might go next week, but in this competition any team can win on a good day.

Looked like idle chit chat to me and Galvin was facing away from the cam for the most part...the other bloke looked quite happy and cheerful

But yeah Galvin was in tears and was being counselled...lol.

We must be looking at different footage here so we'll let it go. The part I saw at no point was Galvin not facing the camera and at no point was it cheerful, so maybe we are talking about 2 separate things. Personal I hope u are right

To be fair, they have won 4 games, including Storm and Manly and lost 4 games by between 1 and a handful of points, including the game against us, which if they had an ounce of luck could have won.

There has really only been one game they have lost that was a blowout and that was the previous week against the Chooks who were on fire.
