OFFICIAL Royce Hunt #298

According to my mate Hunt is a bad trainer and shows in his game time he gets currently with Cronulla. Overweight mixed a bad attitude for training love to see how this plays out in preseason.
Maybe a change of scenery & leadership role will invigorate him.

RCG is rinsed.
He's been a nothing player for years and then has a crack when he's off contract to drum up interest.

We've got Klemmer and Twal, we don't need a plodder like RCG to add into the mix.

Twals a Plodder? - Glad you're finally coming around old mate....

Not to have a shot at you bud, But there's not much reality around these parts....
I've seen post after post stating how Hunt is going to come here,
Double His minutes, Increase his fitness, Gonna be some sort of revolution and Now we need to fix his attitude?

The reality of the situation is - Royce Hunt is 30, played Footy his whole life and hasn't played 100 games - Most blokes his age are looking at 200+
He's Been in the Dogs, Raiders, Sharks and now to Us....
How many changes does a bloke need to kick into gear?

I'm a fan of the way he plays
- But he does a very simple job, In a very short time at the Sharks.
Anyone thinking he's an upgrade on what we've lost is blinded by the hatred of the way it's all panned out.
I'm not against Hunt, But if we're playing him, a utility (Bird - Who I'm hoping goes to Lock), A back hooker (Tallyn) and 1 other on the bench next year
- they may as well give us the Spoon now.
Hunt just doesn't, And probably never will have enough minutes in him...
He's not going from a top 4 team to the wooden spooners with a culture as poor as ours and going to somehow get to $1.10-20

RGC would be very handy , been saying it for ages
big minutes , Tough , hardly ever injured , leader who runs hard tackles hard
we only need him for 2 years but wants 3 years , I would go 2 years on Parra coin last year reduced rate , just get him on board
RGC , Klemmer , Pole , Sam , Red nut , to start
Hunt , Twally bench
Happy to do 3 with performance markers.

Heck look at JWH at the moment. We should have signed him when Easts were ready to release him...

If RCG was here - He'd be our best forward - Without Question.

Also has something none of our team does, Size & Aggression....
Can't see him coming here though - Fair chance he thinks we're a joke.
Dogs, Panthers, Roosters.... Reckon he'll end up there or there abouts

Not to have a shot at you, but he only really started playing league more than a handful of times a year when he moved back at 15.
There was literally an article last week about it. He obviously wasn’t playing his whole life. Are we also counting clubs like the Dogs where he played as a kid? Because I’ve played for about 10 clubs then.

Yeah I know everything points to Hunt not changing.

But players can lift when given a leadership role & he MAY be given the keys to be our main man to lead our pack next season and that can lift a bloke. We know he's a beast in the gym & will already provide aggression & impact that we lack.

Time will tell I suppose & I've been one who called for his signing for months so may be left with egg on my face but I have faith lol

If this was true, the likes of BHU, Tuku and Calqhoun when fit would’ve been selected before him.

Or they'd have been offloaded from the Sharks before him....

OK - So he's been playing league for 15 years....
😂😂😂
More than half his life.

Just saying mate, he played maybe 3 games a year until the age of 15. That’s barely his “whole life” in the grand scheme of things when you compare them to the 200 gamers you mention, who most likely had more opportunity in the junior grades.

Righto Bro...
- So, He was playing before 15?

You've only come here to back him, Don't worry - I'm backing him too....
Just not getting carried away with the expectations here of him.
Tigers need more than he can offer atm.

Tigerdump in relation to BHU and Calqhoun both suffered from a lot of injuries this season and last which in Calqhoun is a real shame.

He's only joined up to back Hunt and his name is Tiger Dump....
Maybe Roycie isn't happy about coming across?
- All good he was looking to give it away next year anyhows 😂

Just sick of the steaming dump the tigers have served up for the past 3 seasons. As opposed to the regular dump we usually get of 9th place 🤣
In any case, my family are die hard tiger fans in WA and were stoked a local boy signed. Especially from our local club here in Perth.

Fair call. But Uele has been playing roulette this season with playing and you can see their fans aren’t happy with it. Calqhoun I hear is good but hasn’t been fit for seasons now
