Our club used to go for drinks after training at the Railway Hotel same nights as Wests after they trained. Donnelly could certainly down a few beers - just didn't know when to stop.

Very sentimental legend TO, the first test I ever went to with my old man, MA Noble stand, I was blown away, 60,000 plus crowd, crikey that’s a hundred years ago !

Just checked, crowd almost 69,000, Poms won 31-12 , lost in Brisbane but won the 3rd Test and the Ashes.

Remember the touchies used to run there hand along your studs to check there was no sharp edges.
