C'mon Namibia!

I love how you get to hear what with Video Ref is saying

Man RU goal kickers are good!
We really need Benji to take lessons from their coaches. They hit the ball with such strength and power so the ball always looks like it's going over the dot

Anyone watch the All-Blacks V Tonga last night?

You have to admire their fans devotion. Completely outclassed, 34-3 with about 7 minutes to go and they score, and they pan to a big Tongan bloke running up and down the stairs waving his flag like a maniac and the Tongan contingent going off their collective rocker. Great to see.

would it be a bit easier to kick goals in rugby union because the ball is a bit more round?
i thought benji did take lessons from an all-black coach not long ago

Yes it is… its amazingly easier imo.
It's also why to can kick it a lot further with out 'kicking so hard'... if that makes sense.

Wilkinson unusually kicking only 3/8

Some great footage not long ago on WWOS of a young kurtley beale at Joeys…absolutely freakish

i was a bit surprised that canada beat tonga 25-20
usa only just beat russia 13-6\. i thought usa would have won by more than that
georgia only lost 15-6 to scotland
scotland only just beat romania too 34 - 24
either romania and georgia have really improved or scotland have gone backwards

im watching the aussies play ireland live on foxsports. after 20 mins we are losing 6-3 :astonished:

Australian Rugby side is a bit like the Tigers
Lots of teams are successful playing high percentage plays and creating points from penalties etc
But the guts of the ARU side (the scrum ) always struggles and we get dominated a lot in many areas that the top nations take advantage of
We need to learn to improve our weaknesses and not hope that the things we are strong at will win us games
Because more often than not we can't beat the NZers or the SA ians on a consistant basis with these tactics
Look what we did in the late 80's
Picked a front row from nowhere (Daly ,Kearns and MacKenzie) and blooded some talented youth (Horan and Little) and built a team around the experienced core

Tonights referee Ireland v Australia Bryce Lawrence Interesting mix
Was it coincedence that the Bryce Gibbs who plays AFL missed the game also on this weekend

As Beau Ryan would say… PENALTY!!!
Seriously how frustrating is it to watch those games? Someone puts a toe over the offside line 10m away from the play and a second later you hear "playing advantage". Everytime I think NRL referees are bad I watch some yawnion and think again. Some of these people make Shayne Hayne look brilliant.
