Contrary to popular opinion I think Bennet has lost it. Love the guy but - even we beat Newcastle in Newcastle. I think it's the time of the younger coaches - the older ones succumb to heaven. We will never forget.

It would be interesting to see what the NRLs thoughts would be considering the dragons have asked for financial assistance yet are trying to sign a coach who is on $800 000 a season.

Bennett is a legend of the game but Iam glad we did not hock the place to get him. I just think his best years are now behind him. I look at the Knights playing roster and its a top eight or better side on paper. Okay they have had some massive problems this year but I would have thought Bennett would have turned a negative into a positive

In 2010 Bennett won a grand final when his team should've been knocked out against the Tigers in the semis...He left the Dragons in a mess then went to Newcastle and did nothing in his 3 years...the club is in worse shape than before he joined them...Bennett conned Tinkler in giving him $1m per season and now he has conned Murdoch into giving him a 3 year deal worth $4m....Bennett will deliver nothing over the next 4 years and will pocket some $7m over 6 years....the greatest con artist since Peter Foster!...
