That one still hurts. Saturday is a chance to put that night out of my mind permanently. You are probably too young to remember the Baby Broncos a team of unknowns who beat us many moons ago.

No Scott Minto this Saturday so they have no chance. That one still hurts. Saturday is a chance to put that night out of my mind permanently.
I sent an email to both the membership and corporate teams and the only response received was an automated message from the membership team telling me that they would get back to me within three business days. I expect that the membership team has passed the ball to the corporate team again - so who knows if or when I will hear anything. Pretty dissapointing!Still nothing from the club in relation to my enquiry. I will hit them up again tonight!

Hi Team,
Follow-Up: Jersey 17 Sponsorship Enquiry and Member Engagement
I would like to follow up on my email of 31 March 2026 (below) regarding the potential for members of the Wests Tigers Forum to collectively sponsor Jersey 17.
After speaking with the Membership team last week, I was advised that my enquiry had been forwarded to the Corporate team on the day it was received, and that someone would be in touch. To date, I have not received a response.
In the meantime, the team list has now been released and Jersey 17 remains unsponsored. In response to a question from another member about the sponsorship enquiry I had to admit that nothing had been heard from the club.
Whether or not the forum ultimately has the capacity to secure the sponsorship is beside the point. What is clear is that there was a genuine, proactive attempt from engaged supporters to contribute financially to the club—and that opportunity has effectively been met with silence.
At a time when:
A simple acknowledgement or holding response would have gone a long way in maintaining goodwill and demonstrating that member-driven initiatives are valued.
- the club is actively working to grow its membership base,
- the team is performing well on the field, and
- there is positive momentum among supporters,
Instead, the absence of communication has created unnecessary frustration and undermined what could have been a very positive engagement story.
I would appreciate an update on whether Jersey 17 sponsorship is still available and if so what the associated costs and structure for sponsorship would be and an indication of whether a collective/member-led sponsorship model is something the club is open to supporting.
More broadly, I would strongly encourage a review of how inbound member-led commercial opportunities are handled. There is a real risk of disengaging precisely the type of supporters the club should be looking to bring closer.
I look forward to your response.
One thing I'm worried about with luai isn't the jumping around or the last tackle options. It's more his discipline in giving away penalties. He gives away 6 agains and high tackles a lot. We've been good in this area and I think that is an area he is weak inWhy - Jock has been playing 7 just had 6 on his back - AD is the 7 and that is the role Jock has been playing so without Jock there AD needs to play as the 7 - He has to play direct and dig into the line - he has to organise and get the attack deep - he has to move the team around the park and provide the long kicking game - he has to kick the goals - None of that is Luai's job - Why dose AD always get the free pass ???
Was it Hicks? I remember Andrew Leeds kicking from about 50 near the sideline at full time to beat us. Can't recall whether as Balmain or WT.chris Hicks kicks the goal from the sideline to beat us lol
Andrew Leeds was playing for penrith v balmain in about 92 or 93 when he kicked a penalty from halfway to beat balmainWas it Hicks? I remember Andrew Leeds kicking from about 50 near the sideline at full time to beat us. Can't recall whether as Balmain or WT.

Keep fighting the good fight. Our boy Alex Seyfarth deserves a sponsor. This forum is the ideal vessel considering how much we love him here and always say good things about him.I sent an email to both the membership and corporate teams and the only response received was an automated message from the membership team telling me that they would get back to me within three business days. Their bench isn't great. We have them there. If we go up a.couple of tries before Royce and Sione come on then we should go on with it. Who knows though. Large crowd.makes lower placed teams unpredictable. Younger players try hard but go for the all or nothing plays. Leadership group needs to keep a lid on things and be patient. Points will comeIf we win the Broncos game we will make the finals. People are focusing on injuries but they have great players. Haas, Willison, Piakura, Riki, Mam, Reynolds, Staggs, Mariner, Shibisaki. The odds are ridiculous WT paying $1.52 something tells me Reno will not play.
