Locally our petrol prices are creeping to $2.40 a litre, and could even become $3/Litre, and some groceries prices are already up between 30-90%,

1. Kiev existed before Moscow did
2. Ukraine has had a seat at the UN, independent of Russia and USSR, since 1945.
3. In 1991 the UN officially acknowledged Ukraine as an independent nation.
4. in 1994, RUSSIA signed the Budapest memorandum in which Russia acknowledged the independence of Ukraine within its existing borders.
5. In 2014 in response to the Russian invasion, the UN passed resolution 68/262 reinforcing the sovereignty of Ukraine within its existing borders.

Which of these have I got wrong?

Mate you have misinterpreted it. I have zero reason to think you beat your wife, its a commonly used trope when someone asks a question like "Do you support hate speech?" which is so obviously a set trap. So is "when did you stop beating your wife" is set up for the answer "I havent". Its a common trope and I never really meant to imply you would. I thought you would have picked it up, my apologies that you didnt and that you interpreted it as a crack at you. Wasnt intended.

Just for the benefit of others who were upset with my post including @PJ , it was never a literal crack at or an accusation of FT, it is a commonly used trope to counter a loaded question and I thought it would be widely enough understood but if you dont know it, it would just look very offensive. A mistake to post it but it wasnt malicious.
