Whatever way you look at it Russia is invading a sovereign country.
Whether they believe Ukraine will join NATO or not makes no difference.
The Ukraine are within their rights to do as they please in that respect.
If you support this action you are also throwing your support behind Putin’s good buddy China storming into Taiwan in the not too distant future.

The Democrats went mad over Russia for the last 5 years and yet when Russia finally launches a full on invasion, they have responded with a wet lettuce, it's an absolute joke. The chaotic departure from Afghanistan was bad enough, but long term this lame reaction to Russia will be even worse, and it pretty much guarantees the fall of Taiwan in the short to medium term.

And I disagree with you on the woke thing. As Stan Grant explains here, Putin sees the west's current obsession with woke identity politics as proof of their weakness, and he chose to exploit that weakness. He wasn't proven wrong, and so therefore Xi Jinping will follow his example.
