Ryan booted!

Does anyone have a contact email for Stephen Humphries? I want to inform him directly that I will not be renewing my membership next season. I also want to express my disgust that players who at least give their all, are being told to look elsewhere yet Blair/Moltzen/Ayshford are allowed to toss up rubbish week in and week out and are rewarded with lengthy contracts.

I understand Heighno has obviously been told he's not in their plans, and he would have a better chance of getting a decent final contract now, compared to the end of next year. But the thing that annoys the hell out of me, is that he only plays the way Sheens tells him. His last 4 weeks were his more natural game. I spoke to him at Gearzone and he told me "he hates running at markers all game, but that's what Sheens wants him to do." So basically, they're telling a player who is just doing what Sheens has told him to do, to leave.

If your an apprentice, you do as your boss says. Chris has done that. And look where it got him.

The heart and soul of WT will be gone if these two leave (Gibbs last year). If I saw Sheens on the street today I would inform him of the stubborn old bastard he is. A guy who rewards rubbish and holds the blokes having a go back, get off your high horse old man and piss off to the Warriors. Thanks for 2005 but you're done. Get rid of him before he ruins the club culture anymore. Wouldn't blame Farah if he went somewhere else!

People, settle down, where in the article does it say Beau is being booted?

Here are some things to consider:

1) Article is from the Telegraph
2) Quote from the article says: "Ryan has agreed to a three-year extension, but cannot ink the deal until the club gets clearance on salary cap issues." nowhere does it say he is gone. It is only specualtion from that article.
3) Article is from the Telegraph

And most importantly

4) THE ARTICLE IS FROM THE FREAKING TELEGRAPH - since when do we believe anything from this particular source, it is as bad as Mr. D. Weidler who gets his scoops from 3rd hand sources, who get their info from forums like this.

I am not saying there isn't truth in this, but perhaps before blowing up over this perhaps wait for some information from a reputable source.

The rumour was around befor the article in the telegraph , I think the tele was the third place I saw it and the way the club is being run at the moment nothing would surprise me

Where else have you seen this rumour? Was it from a reputable source, or just some random person saying it on a forum or on facebook/twitter?

Um, I was only asking where, no need to have a go at me for it.

Ryan is a capable fullback & horrendous centre.

Anyone suggesting he play at centre, or that he was poor at fullback are eith Tim Moltzen or his relatives.

IF this rumour turns out to be true, then next year will certainly be a laughing stock based on these current player movement issues which for all intents and purposes are nothing short of a shambles, and a disgrace I might add. Heighno and Beau are two Tigers players I wouldn't be moving on before their current contracts expire, based on what they showed this year in effort and performance.

I'd shop Blair around before Heighno and I'd shop Reddy, Ayshford and Moltzen around before Beau.

If beau goes i go this club is a joke he played his best year of footy and has alot of fans he brings alot to this club so over the way this club treats our loyal players

Problem is getting money for Reddy ,Ayshford and Moltzen Willow

Bit like having a fire damaged ,closing down or hail damaged sale getting rid of those three

Worth bloody nothing

Possible scenario: Sheens is expected to move on and talks have begun with new coach. New coach wants to bring in some of his own talent and is given the mandate to clear the decks but sees some salary cap pressures.

Looks at roster and says who can we move along - Ryan and Heigno are mentioned.

**How would people feel if the cost of Sheens moving on was Beau and Heigno?**

Yeah it's a possibility I guess that they are trying to free up some money to get rid of Sheens. If losing Rhino and Beau was the cost to get rid of Sheens, then yeah, I guess I could live with that.

Words fail me with this club. This shedding of players would be totally unnecessary if Sheens would just leave. It would be like a new lease of life for the players and all the fans would be happy if he just had the decency to admit he can't do any more with this team and resign.

With regards to Beau, I don't believe the salary cap excuse for a minute, especially since we were only just recently throwing bucket loads of cash at Luke Lewis. If it's actually true that he is being let go, then it stinks!

this whole salary cap issue is very confusion we throw heaps of cash to sign Lewis, we've signed pettyborne re close to signing Kite and we've extended Moltz for 3 yrs something weird is happening at Camp Concord I have a feeling next yr could be a long season specially if sheenius is still there.

I spoke with beau this arvo he said that he has had no talks with other clubs nor has the club asked him to look elsewhere.

Welli hope you are genuine mate, and i hope he was being honest with you. There may be players with more skill but Beau (especially with this years form when played IN POSITION) brings a lot more to the club than that. It would disgust me if they cut him loose.
