NRL 360 were giving us bit of stick about how we have let players walk out the door, like Ryan,JAC and Koro. The bottom line we had to make business decisions based on our cap and our roster. Okay the Fox was bungled and the club don’t hide from it but we don’t have money trees and a expandable cap like other clubs and we have to pay over the odds to attract players so our cap doesn’t go a far as other clubs.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing

Beau Ryan? Lol

Can't tell if you're having a laugh but I think he means Papenhuyzen.

Lol legit thought they meant Beau Ryan. My bad.

@Tweed_Tiger I hope he drops 3 Benji spiral torpedo bombs. Interesting to see Sandor Earl on the bench for Melbourne too. Contingency plans maybe? Our forwards need to bring their hard hats & keep them on. Tigers by 8

This guy is going to terrorise us, his agility and speed is something we don't handle.
Jerome Hughes won't see the no1 Storm jersey again.

Another one that got off the hook, its not that we let them go it's just other clubs are more attractive so this is going to continue to happen until we become successful.

Mate, one great game against a side that was completely ambushed, in the same way they ambushed us a few weeks earlier, doesn’t mean he will repeat that performance again tonight.

Even I could’ve looked like a great player against Parra that night, the same way we made Moses look like Andrew Johns for a game! And we all know he ain’t that good.

Having watched what the Storm did to Parramatta last week will hopefully keep us on guard a bit and be determined not to let the same thing happen to us. No doubt Ryan is a very good player, but let’s see how he goes against a team willing to defend first before we make the call on just how unstoppable he will be.

Why get upset about what happened in the past..Teddy was taking a lend of everybody when he knew where he was going what a grub act . Not the clubs fault the young guy moved on and good luck to him hope he is the next Slater well after tonight of course.

@Snake exactly right. Pap's ability was known before he left. He was stuck behind Tedesco, who everyone thought would stay.

Not the clubs fault.

I think everyone needs to calm down a bit. He’s played one good game when he came on with his team up by 26 points. Let’s wait and see if he can produce it consistently before we go all chicken little.

Good news is we only need to wait another 8 hours to tell how Paps actually goes against us as a starting FB. Plenty of questions to be answered in 1 match.

BuT hEs TiNy aNd WeAk aNd wiLL nEvEr MaKe FiRsT gRaDe...

Haha, how we were wrong.
Shoulda backed him instead of the snake.
He'd probably still be with us.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda... Didn't.

As if we were going to throw the kitchen sink at him when we had a NSW & Australian fullback in the side.

You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. We threw a heap of money at Suli and look how that turned out. A lot complained that we overpaid Brooks and Moses when they first debuted. Juniors are a lottery.

Good old Pooper, never misses a chance to take a pot shot at us. As shown in the article posted from nrl.com Ryan made the choice to move on because he was behind Teddy. It would've been irresponsible for the club to commit too much of our salary cap to an understudy when Tede$co hadn't yet shown his true colours.

Cant run without legs. Just got to tackle them.

Or heads but that's probably a flash back to my bucket of bloods days...not really rugby league 2019..fire up Dallas...

Just remember he was ranked their 3rd best fullback behind Drinkwater and Hughes and came on when the eels gave up and there were holes aplenty

I suppose another way to look at it, is that WT and most other clubs, are not clubs that have any attraction for players to stay waiting in reserves whilst the clubs mainstream players are on roster. Probably only Broncos, Storm and Roosters (and possibly Rabbitohs) are the clubs where they can keep their talented reserve players waiting their time- no doubt the 'éxtra benefits' help but there is ability of these very strong clubs to keep talent waiting in reserve.

It would have been nice to still have Addo Carr and him, but it seems speed doesn’t seem to want to stay at the Tigers.

Adam Blair who was rated the best backrower in the comp.

Hahaa you must have missed the "in their right mind" bit
