Yes, just saw this on FB... Dunno if media or just a fan meme
The masses will swallow it tho... Grrrr! Outrage.!

If it gets the siege mentality working to destroy Parra it has done it's job

I don’t wish bad luck or injuries on anyone, but I make exception for M and M at Parra, career ending painful injury would make my day. Call me vindictive, but two very low humans

I feel the same. Don’t care how it makes me look. If I ever see Moses in the street, I’ll spit in his face.

Ah, don't be vindictive, the ultimate revenge is belting them at full strength and watching them sook from the field. Fingers' crossed.

If, and thats a big if he did actually say it, the only way to prove him wrong is to win the GF. Anything else only proves him right.

Whilst I hope your correct in us winning a GF. I think we prove him wrong as long as they do not win a GF and we become a consistent top 4 side. If he does not win one at Parra, it will be bittersweet

Yeah i know what your saying and i agree i hope him and MM never win one. I didn't say we would win a GF, just that if what he allegedly said is correct i.e we won't win a GF then he would be factually right, unless we actually win a Grand Final. Either way, as i have alluded to in other topics in the past, results and not talk is the only thing that matters.

I actually think this is one of the most important matches of the season for us. We need to win this. Our wins this year have been against the bottom feeders. We need to notch a win against a top 4 team.

We’re a middle of the road team. What do you expect

Im with most on here. My hatred of both Matterson and Moses knows no bounds. I even like Easts more than Parra. How is that possible???
I pray we turn up next week and give it to them. I doubt it though. I dare say some WT players will be chatting and joking with both of those low lives during the week.

I wish we could bring back the hatred but in this day and age it will never happen.

I'd be surprised if he did say that. If he did he's an idiot and has definitely incited some extra motivation to thump him.

He’s a good player and we all woud rather he was still playing with WT ..... I get that.
So time to just get over it.

Its a media beat up the game sells itself 2 x Top 8 teams trying to cement their positions and they spanked us both times last season so there should be some extra motivation, it will be hard game for us we have fallen short but been competitive against other Top 4 teams this season.
Personally being a realist not banking on a Win as Eels were due for a loss and had it 1 week earlier and the good teams don't lose 2 in a row.

I think the 2 games that will determine our season now are Round 17 & 18 against Manly and Souths. Broncos game was great to watch but until we string a few wins together still hesitant to make a call on finals football.

Fingers crossed this is the position his in at the end of the game.

BASH THEM ALL..

Make them uncomfortable..struggle going uphill ..downhill not a problem for them..

So...BASH EM for 80mins..Wests Tigers been building..

I have always hated Parra fans ever since Taniela Tuiaki injured his leg against them in 2009. I was at the game, and when he got injured, the Parra fans booed him for going down, that he got up & walked off the field with a broken ankle, and never played in the NRL again. They are so classless, they booed Corey Norman in his first game with the Dragons, even though Norman didn't want to leave but Parra didn't want him.
I dislike 15 teams in the NRL, some more than others, but I hate Parramatta because of their fans.

Who is this Matterson? Is he the guy that blew in and blew straight back out?

That’s the one! I still can’t believe he and Josh Aloiai are good mates 😳. They are chalk and cheese in character. You really need to choose your friends more wisely Josh!

“You’ll never win a grand final – I want out” are the words Ryan Matterson delivered to the Wests Tigers prior to his departure to the Parramatta Eels. Matterson quit the Tigers at the back end of last season one year into a three-year deal with the club.He downed tools and skipped training with his manager claiming he was sick .But in the background he was working on a move to Parra.

Joining the premiership-chasing Eels this season, Matterson has helped the Eels move up the ladder.
But he hasn’t stopped there, taking aim at the Tigers on social media after they allowed fullback Corey Thompson to quit for the Titans. “Players’ player last year and they didn’t want to use you this year,” Matterson posted on his social media alongside an emoji with a raised eyebrows.“You are an absolute freak of a player and will kill up at the Titans.”

That outburst earned a rebuke from Brad Fittler, who described the second-rower’s behaviour as “ridiculous”. On Thursday he faces his former club for the first time since his bitter exit. And the Sydney Morning Herald’s revelation that he told the Tigers “you’ll never win a grand final is sure to add fuel to the fire.

But club great Benji Marshall says there are no hard feelings.“In footy, sometimes you’ve got to do what you think is best for you,” Marshall told reporters. “And (Matterson is) going good over there.

“There’s no doubt he’s added a lot to their team. A lot of strike to their right side and a lot of experience.”

“In an ideal world you always want it to be rosy and good but he did what he felt was best for him, and that’s OK. “You can’t bag anyone for doing that.“He’s going well. Good luck to him.”

“Every week I say it to our team, you’ve got to turn up with the same intensity and attitude,” Marshall said. “If you don’t turn up ready to play, you get flogged.“Our challenge is to go out there next week and turn up the same way.”
