Sack Marshall

With half the season gone and the wooden spoon already a certainty for the sake of fans and sponsors surely a co coaching role with Morris or an experienced mentor must be being considered

I have lots if time for Gardiner. Justin Holbrook, Brad Arthur, Mal Meninga and Jason Demetriou all fit the profile we need.
Gardiner is an assistant at Penrith and Holbrook is an assistant at Roosters. I’d have to ask why would they want to come here?

Exactly right! Benji's in a tight situation right now. Why would he replace all those under-performing players when there is literary none that can replace them. Competitiveness starts from bottom up. not top down. Develop our talent pool instead of buying second hand players. Replacing Benji is a top-down approach that will get us nowhere. This 'sacking' discussion should happen when the season's over because by now he knows each players weaknesses and strengths and our best chance of not getting the wooden spoon.

No it sounds like an entitled kid who must already have an illegal offer on the table from another club.
If Galvin was released he would sign with a number of teams on double his current Tigers deal.
I reckon his manager can see his form dropping off and becoming less effective than Sullivan at putting points on the board. If this form slump continues for too long, there’s a risk to his value?

This is true, however the coach is responsible for building a culture of resilience to defend these errors…
What is a culture of resilience? sounds like a line a garbage newspaper reporter or corporate executive would throw out when trying deal with something they can’t fix. “ we need to build a culture of resilience and dovetail that into a performance matrix to better rationalise KPI results when measuring outputs against targeted annual projections blah blah blah blah.

Look at the soo team, they lost by 28 points playing one man down in a side that contains the best players in their positions. The new version of the game is designed to have points scored, the problem with the new version of the game, a team disadvantaged in anyway will results in them conceding points and weak teams concede a lot.

There is no resilience culture that can withstand the amount dumb shit our players did on Friday night.

we have a squad that consists of 1 or 2 proven first grade players in their prime. The others are either up and comers, wannabes or has beens. The new coach and new club management are doing their best to build a roster.

Culture of resilience 😂

Our squad cannot deal with adversity. Be it a perceived contentious ref decision or unlucky try scored against them, they react poorly everytime.

They were flying on Friday, up 12 nil and had Saints stretched then the errors started. Three unforced in a row leading to a lucky try from a highball knock back. Yes that was a bad passage of play…did they knuckle down and get back on track? Nope, they let in a very easy try in our worst defensive effort of the game. After this they somehow managed to hit back and take the halftime lead, did that pump them up? Nope, they refused to have a go for the entire second half.

They have bugger all resilience. They are not tough mentally nor physically. As a group, they show very little fight. Very little courage. It’s piss weak for a professional sporting team. Go ahead and laugh if you must. It doesn’t make it untrue.
