1st grade selection now appears to be the equivalent of an encouragement award in the juniors. Selection is not based on ability or talent, but how hard you try.

He’ll go alright. Considering our bench forwards have struggled happy for him to have a run

All the best Sam.#233

Wear the jersey with pride..

Worse than Kyle Lovett they reckon ?

Is that true Geo ?

Not his biggest fan...has played some good games in Canterbury Cup..can tackle..don't expect him to play big minutes...

Wonder what position he’ll play? Garner and Luciano both play 80 and I’ve always thought he’s too small for prop but that must be where he’s playing.

If Luciano is still feeling his injury McIntyre could replace him at some time.

Possibly but we also have Chee Kam on the bench as well. Leads me to believe that McIntyre will get a run at lock like Lawrence was in the last 15 minutes of the game. He’s more mobile at least

Lawrence drop ball per game is the most frustrating part about him atm.

Agree with seyfarth doesn’t have from what I’ve seen.

Hope he goes well but can’t shake the feeling Madge is giving all these young guys a run to see how they handle it and if they are worthy of keeping in the squad

Seriously some people just want to complain at everything.

Madge is giving the kids a go, he is actually trying something and seeing what they are made of. It’s important to then make a call if they stay or leave.

I like what he is doing atm with the kids.

That is only worth doing if you are writing off this season. If everyone is accepting of that then no harm in giving the kids a go.

The other downside is that you can't make any judgment on Madge as a coach while our side is full of kids. If these ones are no good and we need to turn over the roster, at what point does Madge become accountable? Next year the replacements will be too young and in need of experience. Good way to either get yourself sacked or aim for an extension without any results to justify it.

Trying different players to get the strongest possible team is only worth it if you’re writing off the season? None of the bench forwards have impressed so why not try McIntyre and see if he’s good enough? Maybe he kills it and our team benefits for the whole year. Your logic makes no sense.

Iam starting to lose faith in madge, this team is really poor , McIntyre is not up to can’t cup class , and he brings back Jennings . Think we are in for a hiding.

The bigger problem is if Talau's hamstring is a multi week injury

We are stuck with Jennings for multiple weeks

Top 10 ways to get depressed over a teamlist

Is this a quiz ?

I'm that sad about this side I'm thinking MCK @ 3 , Mbye replaces Jennings

“White men can’t jump”
..starring Robert Jennings ..

I’d take Rankin back over Jennings !

Mclntyre could even replace jennings

Couldnt b much worse

As a general rule of thumb i only expect 25% of good young players to become good NRL players and even that percentage is probably too high.Having said that i feel Madge is on the right path to make us a very competitive club, not every club has a cap where it seems the NRL turn a blind eye to the assembly of the squad.
Hopefully with Turdberg having departed a fairer more equal policing will start to happen
