Same try, different week...

manly had a try disallowed because of the separation between hand and ball when in the motion of placing the footy on the ground.

it was the exact same as inu's try, they just looked at the replay a few more times in the GF and got it right.

im over the loss, it doesn't bother me at all now. we blew our opportunities. but they put us through probably hours of video refereeing decisions all year - in what can often be nothing games. it disappoints me that in a sudden death semi final, a try is score with 3 minutes remaining which determines the outcome of the game and they missing something so simple such as the grounding… in the grand final the exact same sort of try was scored and disallowed... its annoying..

bring in a coaches challenge...

I didnt see any seperation….it wasnt mentioned in the call....it was replayed 100's of times that weekend and not mentioned either.

so because it wasnt highlighted by the media it basically never happened? laughable… and you call yourselves supporters!

so do u think try against us should've been no try
or the try in the grand final should've been a try?

technically they both should have been given no try… the ball hit the ground without a hand on it at one point making it a knock on... but thats only because we can see it after numerous slow motion replays...

i'd prefer it if they get rid of the video referees and brought back in goal touch judges...

It didnt happen
There was NO seperation in Inus try against us.
Thats why it wasnt mentioned or highlited, the same as a flying piano crashing into the southern stand at the SFS at the same time wasnt mentioned, highlited or discussed…because it did not occur.

The ball was starting to come loose from Inu but in saying that, there was still no separation, his fingers were still on the ball and there was still downward pressure. So it is still a try.
