@ said:Sign him up for the rest of the year with next year in our favour. Let him see out this year in reggies and push up his match fitness.
Pretty sure I have seen somewhere that he is in talks with the storm though, living down there atm.
@ said:Would be a good player to pick up but it is no certainty on how he will perform and **he may end up like Jarryd Hayne. I** would prefer to sign Mead, Edwards or Gela-Mosby but if he is in the right head-space and is fit and playing at his best he would be worth a look at.
I wouldn't take the risk but that is just me, he was good before he left though.

In what sense?
Price?
Earl would be cheap - take him on a trial and train deal.
Attitude?
He trains the house down now away from the game, owns a F45 in the Melbourne CBD, and would be humble considering where he's coming from.
His headspace would be excellent - he's had FOUR YEARS away form the game to realise what he could miss out on - if anything after watching him on League Life, he'd have a better headspace than most players currently playing.
Whomever picks him up will get great value out of him - I seriously hope it's us with the Cleary Factor.
