Sandor Earl

Cleary let him go to the Raiders from the Panthers mid 2012..

Redemption?
He's now the other side of 25, I think he's another Danny Wicks in the making - gone from being a hot head flashy show off, to someone who realises what he could be missing.

2012 Is a long time ago.

He said rugby league has been his priority the whole time so hes been training with a return in mind…. for Four years.

Hed be one of the fittest players in the NRL on return and no doubt would be a great strength and conditioning coach post playing career.

Sign him up and if if all works out.... keep him with the club long term, even once his playing days are over.

Those F45 gyms are everywhere so he can always expand his business.

Great player in his day and great bloke.

As far as I know Sandor has been MMA training in Thailand and is rock hard and built like Arnie. Idris was eating hash brownies in Nepal and banging backpackers.

Nepal sounds good half his luck

Hahahahaha I know which one I'd prefer…..and the view in Nepal is meant to be amazing...

Viewing and sampling young worldwide beauties on home or foreign shores was always a favourite pastime of mine as well.

Heading down to Sandor's old stomping ground in Phuket for a few days next week where more viewing opportunities await.

Hard done by? Shafted? He was a drug cheat. End of story. He deserves some credit for copping it sweet and owning up but let's turn him into Mother Theresa.

Because Earl got 4 years, while Gallen served a few weeks on the tail end of a season when the Sharks were already out of contention. That's a pretty extreme difference for using a drug that's not technically illegal.

Probably because Sandor was way way more heavily involved in the sourcing and distribution than Gallen. If there was any doubt about the drug being illegal or the extent of his punishment I'm sure he would have done more about it. You can say Gallen and others got off lightly but Sandor got what he deserved.

:roll Idris is the winner out of those 2 then! :stuck_out_tongue:

wouldnt he now be 40 years old ??

If we have the coin then buy a inform talented player instead of someone who hasnt been played for 4 years

Whats the guarantee he will be back to his best upon return

Im not sure some are realising the Sandor situation. It is highy unlikeky any club would sign him to a top 25/30 contract. He will get a start as a second tier player that does not come under the cap. So why not let that be us? He is a solid strong winger, if it doesn't work out we have a decent reserve grader with no impact on our top line cap, if it does work out we get a winger with power for minimal cost.

Sandor Earl would be an excellent pick up, big, strong, fast winger … could turn him into a centre ??. Pick him up like the Raiders did with Dave Taylor .. train as hard as can with us, impress the coach with your willingness, enthusiasm, stay out of trouble, and we might offer you a 1 year contract. If you play well enough and prove your in the right head space for the game, we could offer an extension. He's been there done that, did the crime and paid his dues. He knows what he has missed out on and knows what he could have been in the game.

Earl would be dirt cheap, someone who I'd take a punt on.

When Kev is in your backline almost anyone looks like a good signing. I'd rather go with a current player.

If we could get him on a minimum contract would give him a go. We don't have a lot of depth in the outside backs.
