Well according to 1 eyed eel he is …

http://www.1eyedeel.com/m#/m/discussion?id=500401%3ATopic%3A1787911

As I recall he went to the eels because they offered him 1st grade $ to get his signature

Guess the eels will be making up the shortfall in his new WTs contract .

I'm not usually one to say we should sign player x, but only just realized Jacob Loko hasn't played at all this yr, mainly due to injury i think. He'd be very handy if they ever were looking to free up some coin.

That would be awesome if Santi came back.
And GNR I totally agree. Loko would be VERY handy indeed.

Funny how both those guys totally dominated U20's and haven't as yet done much in first grade.

I wouldn't say Loko hasn't done much, he was really impressive last yr. Runs the ball like a mack truck.

On further reading , Santi had a get out clause if RS left the Eels

Guess it will all come out in the wash .

Lovett is better now, will be better in the future and Santi will never have good enough size for my liking.

If he is heading back to Concord to increase his chance of a first grade berth Iam suprised.
The way I see it, he would have some real quality backrowers in front of him. I agree with others from what I have seen of him, he should turn out a quality player but his chances of cracking a spot might be a couple of years away and most kids today are not keen on playing the waiting game

I'm happy to hear this news… I have always been a fan and see some quality in this kids work ethic balanced with his ability to off-load.

He could be our Gallen in 2-3 years!

Looks like it could be, given the price is right, he may turn into a Shaun fensom style player, big engine, not a massive frame.

Similar to Fulton, only with less concussions.

if we have brought him back then we must have enough $$ to re-sign Teddy…I wouldn't have thought a 2nd rower was high on our list of positions to fill....

He would most probably be on a NSW Cup contract surely. He left and he dished out our top 2 contracts. BMM has gone so there could be a spot, but he'd be cheap (at least for this season).

Apparently something to be announced in the coming days. I see him taking Fulton's spot long term.

Done.

Former Under 20s player Brenden Santi has officially re-joined Wests Tigers following an immediate release from the Parramatta Eels.

Primarily a lock forward, Santi was an integral part of the Wests Tigers’ Under 20s team during the 2012 and 2013 seasons before his departure to the Eels last year.

The 20-year-old is currently training with the Wests Tigers NSW Cup side and has signed a deal through until the end of the 2015 season.

Santi represented Italy in last year’s Rugby League World Cup alongside NRL fullback James Tedesco and was part of the Wests Tigers’ premiership-winning Under 20s side in 2012.

Talking about size, either does our second rower Fulton. However both are energetic, good tackling machines and very good attitude. Santi is a very handy re-purchase.

And a very informative eels statement 😛

He could of been in first grade right now. Would of got probably the call up last year instead of Brown had he stayed. Great re-signing or whatever it is, welcome back.
